Good to see you again, Ivan. I always am looking forward your new watch reviews on every Sunday. I had been looking into Vario watches few times before (however, not this one because 37mm is just too small for my 7.5 inch wrist), but never pulled the trigger. Why? I don't know.. but it always seemed that something was missing with the brand and their design, price and so forth. It is good, but it wasn't quite there to send over my money from paypal. ha ha. The lume on the crown is nice, but wouldn't it be nicer to have their name on the dial lumed? I do not know their intention of not printing their brand name with legible color, but personally, it would be better to have the name printed with legible color or at least lume it. As for the dial design, I love it!!!!! Love the layout and love the indices colors and hands. I always am a sucker for a vintage look anyway. Also love the crown position and its large size. However, not a huge fan of the strap. Perhaps a nice black "curved lug end" soft silicon robber strap with some mustard yellow accent (to match with the yellow lume dots) on it. That would have been a nice touch. Or Print D12 with that yellow color on the strap or something to match the dial with or at least make do something that it does not look as if it was just off a shelf. Anyway, very nice watch. Thanks Alex - it seems to me that they were going for a more "stealth" print of the name on the dial this time (they have done more obvious logos in their other watches) to have a somewhat clean-skin look to the dial, which is something that is not infrequently done in vintage style field watches. Hey that's a good idea regarding a possibly complementary strap... I'll pass it on!
