Just got hold of a GW-9400 (and love it), so of course I'm only now coming across this video, which covers the watch's details nicely: One interesting you mention vis-a-vis the Rangemaster is the latter's vibration-resistance tech: as I see it, the Rangeman doesn't *need* "vibe resist" on account of the module having no moving parts, as opposed to the and-digi hybrid module of the Mudmaster, where the analog bits would indeed need toughening-up to avoid going out of alignment. As far as Casio downplaying the mud/dust-resistant properties of the Rangeman (presumably to better emphasize the same properties of the newer Mudman/Mudmaster Gs), I'll just echo the opinion of other KZbin folks pointing out that Casio merely painted themselves into a corner by making the Rangemaster *too* good (if that's actually a thing). Clearly, the more-astute part of the watch marketplace has spoken, since the Rangeman seems to remain a bestseller.

With the Skeleton dial and movement it's a complete mess, very difficult to read the time except in the dark when the way the lume is used makes it really easy to tell the time. Perfect watch for a vampire who likes diving, a niche market.

Hello and thanks for this video. I like the job done by Olto-8, it is an interesting microbrand. Thus, this watch could have been a success. But imo there are too many flaws.

yeah this is crazy I actually bought one on FB marketplace in the states and it was the fake, but because of all the official branding I couldn't figure out why it seemed off cause it appeared to be real. A giveaway on mine though was that the box had an Amazon "LPN" sticker on it which means it was at some point a return for amazon and sold at a lesser price. This sucks because it means that someone was selling the fake ones as the real ones on Amazon at some point.

In Case anyone doesn't know this ! There is Quite a difference between paying £ 19,000 for a Rolex and £ 75 for a Quartz Invicta ! The Invicta is Accurate, Doesn't need Sevicing and you are not going to lose a lot of money if the Watch is Destroyed or Stolen ! And who cares what anyone thinks ! If you are an Under Manager you need to Impress Everyone with a Fake or a Real Rolex !

Rubber strap all the way. I had metal bracelet, leather and rubber straps and nothing beats the comfort of the rubber. You don't feel it on your wrist

I don't see anything wrong with a Homage Watch ! I have lots of cheap Watches ! I feel very uncomfortable wearing an Expensive Watch ! If I scratch the Glass on a Wall, or Get Mugged it Doesn't matter with a Cheap Watch ! I would be very Disappointed if I Damaged a £1,000 watch. So to Destroy a £19,000 Rolex in a Motorbike Accident would really make me Sick !

Awesome review! Bought one and changed the rubber strap to a jubilee bracelet with the glidelock mechanism, pure class... The rose gold is so beautiful and the black sun burst dial may be subtle, but when you notice it it's plain beautiful... Totally recommend this watch! 🧡🖤

The last couple I’ve had from them have been truely impressive. Feels like they are getting better. Not that they really needed to be any better.

I have several daily dive watches with the vostok scuba dude being the cheapest one, but it's also the one the wear the most. Not only is it probably the most durable, but it has the most interesting design and history. Get a good braclet for it and your golden.

This would pair nicely with my Blike shoes and Aiddezzas jacket.
