How I wish I could restore a military style watch dial using film free waterside decals then painting in the raised numbers and transferring the entire decal onto the original dial. And ideas would be so appreciated! Thanks sharing your great work my friend!

I've got a project I'm working on this week to restore some aspects of damaged but original dirty dozen dials. I'll try to record some of it to show if possible.

I have an 8 inch wrist, so I can technically wear a 45mm watch; I just don't like watches that call attention to themselves, and incidentally are way more likely to hit a doorframe, or hang up your shirtsleeve. Recently, I've been buying 39mm and smaller. The original military watches that soldiers, sailors and even pilots wore in WWII were 33 to 36mm. They didn't feel that the small size insulted their masculinity. 🙂 I've pre-ordered one of these Varios.

39mm is perfectly suitable for most people tbh. This one wears a little small, but the 37mm is intentional per the type of watch. Hope you enjoy it.

I have 7 1/2 wrists and I actually prefer smaller watches. 36mm-42mm good for me.

really not that bad for a microbrand. I wouldn't say it's overpriced, margins are gonna be thin at that rate.

If you want Swiss-made Vertex ( one of the original D12 companies) make a modern version of their watch with a Selitta movement for an easy $2,600.
