LOL vast empty lands. Where are the developments shown in the promotional videos. Eko Atlantic will only be developed when Nigeria reaches a GDP per Capita of $5000 which probably take places 50 years from now due to poor governance and incompetence. At the current GDP per Capita $2,300 nigerians are not able to afford a decent apartment hence demand for Apartments and Offices in the EKO Atlantic is virtually non-existent. If people keeps electing incompetent politicians this very very slow paces of development will continue until the next generation.

You are just yabbing nonsense. Government have nothing to do with EKO ATLANTIC order than that they used the land reclamation to stop ocean encroachment on Lagos. The City will grow over time. It was never meant to be rushed.

Developments in Eko Atlantic has nothing to do with GDP or government. All the landed property in the Eko Atlantic have been bought by Nigerians and Nigerian companies, so it has nothing to do with poverty or government. When the land owners are ready, they will build.

@@jyde50 The tallest building in the world is 160 stories, 80+ story buildings around the world were completed in the 70’s, Empire State Building in NYC is 102 floors and completed in 1931, SA has a 55 story building, Egypt is building a 77 story building (presently more than 50 floors because it is still under construction), Morocco has a 50 story building, countries around the world with GDP slightly above ours have 60+ story buildings and Kenya has a 47 story building under construction. So sir/Madam I have done my best to disillusion you. However, I am humble enough to accept you have the right to continue pretending this is a big deal.

@@RandomMZ1412 LOL, continue to make noise, Nigeria is very very new to high rise buildings!! all we ever know as luxury is duplexes. For country that is very new to highrises, Nigeria has tried ALOT!!! those countries you mentioned have been building highrises way longer than Nigeria yet today we can boast of a few highrises just within 10 years!!!i currently i know of at least 5 highrise above 100meters under construction across lagos that is all i know there could be more. and for your information we have more building above 100meter than kenya. WHEN highrises finally enter the minds of most Nigerians then you will see taller buildings!!

@@jyde50 The union bank at marina Lagos was completed in the 90s, it is more than 28 floors, Cocoa house in Ibadan is 26 floors completed in in 1965. Tell us again how Nigeria is new to high rise buildings. But I plead with you to restrain making your ignorance very public as you do so. 5, 10,15,20 high rises of just above 100 meters is not a big deal. @@RandomMZ1412 you forgot to factor in population, yes we have maybe 3 highrise buildings in the 60s or 70s. but how can you say Nigeria is not new to highrises when 99.9999% of the population have never seen anything taller than 4 floors??? there is a reason why asia is beating europe in highrise despite europe been richer, it was never their culture alot of them are new to the concept. you cant bring in new culture and expert it to spread so quickly, Nigeria is doing very well given that we are very new to the concept!!! Nigeria is currently going through highrise boom you just refuse to see the progress.
