Harrigarria Boiseko euskal jendeak duen indarra! Aupa zuek! As a valencian would say... "That's not paella, it's rice with stuff". It looks so yummy though! You should try some marmitako for another year :)

We had many people from the Basque community living here in Bridgeport Connecticut because of the Jai-Lai franchise in Milford and Bridgeport.

@@maztermonzter9764 every latin american that has basque ancestry knows. I come from a region that was colonized by asturians and basques in a higher number than extremeños and andalucians, and the family has always known, it's everywhere, it's in the way we talk, the surnames, the traditional architecture, and so on.

1:31 his ancestor looks exactly the same as the arrieros from my region (I'm from somewhere where there were a lot of basque settlers). Even the mule is prepared the same way.

Paella is nota basque and you don't put chorizo on a paella because the whole paella will taste like chorizo

Paella is not basque at all, maybe some Talos or txistorra or marmitako would have fitted , but not paella.

I am full Basque but was born and raised in Valencian region. I know for a fact Basque people are the absolute WORST at making paella. I once saw a “paella” being served in Bilbao which was white rice with some kind of fish sauce on top. This guy just made some kind of paella mixta with mussels, beans and... chorizo. Huge no-no.
