The Penguin is one of the best things that DC has ever made, establishing another high point in the franchise's cinematic legacy, and paving the way for The Batman's universe to grow even stronger. It truly feels like the beginning of a new era for DC in film and television, and Matt Reeves' Batman universe is one of the biggest reasons for that. The Penguin helped usher in the end of 2024 in spectacular fashion while elevating the excitement for The Batman - Part II even more.

I don't believe any of that. Reeves can't even finish the script for one movie, let alone shooting it and working on more. 👎🏼 I don't like his take on Batman at all. I absolutely hate how how he twisted Martha Wayne, in the comics an incredibly feisty, resilient and strong woman with a big heart and compassion for everyone. And Thomas Wayne turning to a mob boss because he's afraid of a bit of bad press? This movie is so utterly bad. I hate what Reeves did with Batman an his Universe,👎🏼☠️ I want to see the real Batman of the DCU. ❤
