You know you guys gotta admit the UC did a darn good job tying most of their timeline together in a majority cohesive manner - ZZ is the direct sequel to Z and provides closure to Kamille and Fa, and leaves the room open for Astionage, Torres, and Bright to return in later UC entries (CCA, UC, NT, HF) - ZZ's final battle really paralleled the OG Gundam, notably the Core-Block style Gundam vs the Newtype-Use Zeon suit, especially with that melee duel with the pilots - ZZ Gundam's leg was destroyed, allowing for Evolve to add on to Post-ZZ Judau with the ZZ-GR, and especially due to Judau's late return to the colonies, it makes sense that ZZ couldn't be continously repaired to full power, thus explaining Gump in Crossbone/Victory era - ZZ also acts as the direct prequel to CCA, UC, NT, and HF as the EFF, by sitting out this one, had time to rebuild their forces and, just like the AEUG, strike at Zeon's weak spot. Especially with combat data from their GM IIIs and Mk II allowed development of the Jeddah and Jegans that sprawl throughout the mid-late UC - Especially now with BOTH EFF and Zeon in smithereens, it makes more sense why they became dependent on Anaheim for new MS, as both lost the majority of their capacities to develop their own MS. Especially this might be why the Geara-series feels underwhelming: not only are they cheaper to produce, but they weren't exactly made with Neo Zeon's "push the envelop" development beliefs in ZZ - ZZ's ending left the door open for Mineva as well, explaining her "on the run" appearances in both Moon and Unicorn. It also explains how she wasn't fully indoctrinated in Haman's ideologies, allowing her anti-war sentiments to grow to what we see in UC - The fact that each faction in Neo Zeon did not fully decimate the other allows for the remaining suits to reappear in UC, once they're backed up against the wall - ZZ also did not account for every Puru Clone, allowing for Marida and possibly other clones throughout that era. Granted, if you accept UC Engage as canon (I personally dont but the ms designs are great for customs), it makes sense that not all clones fit the bill, allowing for those "failed clones" in Peche's 3rd arc against the Magna Mater - The scattered remnants of Neo Zeon that didn't flee to Axis or the Earth Sphere were not fully accounted for. Thus, Advance of Zeta ReBOOT serves as an explanation for what happened, as well as the variations of MS like the Reben Wolf, Dom/Gelgoog 3, and Zaku 3G, which adapted to the ground-combat-style of Mars - A similar thing occurs in Moon, the direct sequel to ZZ, with variations like the Zaku IV, RS Jarja, Medussa, and heck even the Theta Plus, ReGZID, and Jeddah acting as further developments on both sides similar to how 0080-0083 played out - Especially as ZZ was the height of Newtype battle until CCA and UC, it also explains why EFF was so scared of Newtypes (I mean, who wouldn't be after this?) and pushed against them in UC, NT, and HF until Newtype-use MS become almost nonexistent until Victory. On the other hand, it also allows for the transition to Psycho Frame- with the Quasi-Psycommu systems and Newtype technology at its height, and the fact that developments like the Bio Sensor and Newtype Helmet already were underwent meant that Neo Zeon, despite crumbling, had the edge in Newtype development and thus could make something as complex and mysterious as Psycho Frame in less than 5 years (reason being the god-knows-how-many-char-ms-before-sazabi generally having PF, such as his custom Dijeh)) The point of this is that for all the comedic and questionable aspects of ZZ, you can't deny its pivotal role in the history of UC for all sides of the war, and in that way imo it feels like it did its job well. I greatly enjoyed these videos exploring ZZ with a unique (and hilarious) perspective on its events, but in the end it's the Universal Century. Even those whose souls are freed from the shackles of gravity are enslaved by war

You did not mention in detail how Kamille recuperates and ZZ effectively ends Zeta. ZZ is basically Zeta S2.

8:29 Those are Qubeley Mass Production Type, unlike the OG Qubeley and Qubeley mk2, the mass production type has 3x the funnel and a pair of beam cannon, -the most messed up part is that every single pilot inside that Qubeley were unnamed Ple clones- 8:46 (つω⊂* ) 9:17 this is probably a rare moment where a single mobile suit that withstand a overpowered mega beam cannon using newtype autism.

I don't talk about mobile suits until they serve a purpose to the story for the most part. The mass production Qubeleys were cannon fodder. But I will probably bring it up when I deep dive into Ple 12.

I think what is going on during the weird moment that you are calling the "romantic moment" in 0079 between Char and Amuro (where their helmets connect) is the exact moment Char gains Newtype powers, and that he got them from Amuro. The reason I think this is because just before, Char says Amuro very well may have got his Newtype powers from LaLa, then the weird scene with the helmet clash happens. There are other scenes peppered in Zeta where people's Newtype powers awaken upon contact with others. They never draw attention to these scenes or state that its for sure when someone's Newtype powers were awakened, its just a regular scene where it could have happened. Pay attention and let me know if this theory holds up.

That is very possible that you would need a newtype to activate a newtype. I will keep an eye out to see if this theory holds up.
