I do not know who thought this would be fun.....but it only goes to show how little you know about Dimash K. No one deserves to be put up against his vocal abilities, they may be a good singer, but there is only ONE Dimash. As a general rule I do not watch comparison videos, but since I had never listened to Dimas, I wanted to hear him at least once. Once was enough.

I had to laugh, you clearly haven't seen a Dimash Qudaibergen concert (many are on utube). He sings classical / pop / folk / rap / etc all in about 6 different languages. He is probably the most mustically diverse artist on the planet. So to say you don't like this performance because it's to theatrical, is a bit strange? so if you listened to Luciano Pavarotti would you say that it's to operatic? My point is, you're not really comparing singers, it's the style of music which seems to be more important to you.

I personally thought both performances were excellent. I had to make a decision somehow so opted for Dimas as I preferred that particular song. Yes, you could argue that I was biased. Anyway, at no point did we say that we didn't like the performance because it was too theatrical.

Whoa! What a bad idea! Don't compare singers at all unless they sing the same song and are close in talent level. And never cpmpare Dimash Qudaibergen to anyone, period. I agree with those who strongly suggest you guys watch one of Dimash's concerts. His September 23rd 2022 Almaty Kazakhstan concert kicked off his current Stranger World Tour and is now available on his KZbin channel in 3 parts. Spectacular concert. Sold out stadium to 35,000 fans from 68 countries around the world. People who couldn't get tickets stood outside the stadium to hear Dimash. He did post two songs as separate videos, Durdaraz (folk/rock in Kazakh) and El Amor En Ti (his new Spanish composition for his Latin Dears).

What annoys me about a lot of reactors including you guys is that you listen to a couple of songs and think you know an artist and what he is capable of. I guess this might apply to your average singer who stays in his two octave, one genre lane but this is Dimash we are talking about and the only thing you can predict about him is that he will be unpredictable. You never know what genre you are going to hear from him next, or even whether he's going to mix two or three genres within a song, usually so skilfully you don't even know it's happening. Or even what language he's going to sing. He doesn't do music, he is music. As for him being overly theatrical in this performance, this was a 13 week competition and the week before he had ended up in last place because he chose the wrong song, it was go big or go home and he went big, luckily the audience didn't agree with you as he won first place in this round with his performance of Adagio. Please, just stop trying to pigeon hole him, it can't be done. Until you've seen a concert you have no idea what he does, what his incredible stage charisma is like or his incomparable connection with his audience.

They have reacted to quite a few Dimash videos and they don't try too hard to disguise their indifference. They stop randomly at the worst possible spots, which suggests to me that they are not really listening. I could be wrong; maybe they're like that on every video (I only watch their Dimash videos), but, to me, that's certainly the vibe they give out.

But you have to understand that many fans of Dimash are touched by him on a level that goes far beyond the ear. Dimash is not only appreciated as an artist, but downright adored. Many people report that his music has touched their souls, brought them out of depression and grief, got them addicted. There are fans who sell their possessions to have enough money to travel to his concerts around the world. Dimash is not only loved for his music, but also for his personality, which is really! remarkable, check it out. He is not only a singer, but a composer (currently working on his Ph.D. in composition, soon "Dr. Dimash" 🤭), an actor ( + he enjoyed his work on his MV's very much and is going to be attending the New York Film Academy to study directing possibly later this year). Last but not least one has to admit that he is a distinctly handsome man, which makes him even more popular, especially with his female fans (he has modelled several times, e.g. Men's health, Chic, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and is on several lists that choose the most beautyful men in the world. 😉🤭) I'm 59 (and have listened to a lot of singers in my life), not a hardcore fan myself, but I notice that other singers' performances leave me more and more cold and seem uninteresting and boring to me. Dimash ist just the BEST. 🤯 But - he is not for everyone, just like Michael Jackson or Pavarotti. Dimash is already a megastar in Kasachstan, Asia and Russia, his biggest concert so far (2019) had 40.000 spectators from 64 countries, and I'm sure he'll achieve the same in the rest of the world in the next few years (he lives currently in Los Angeles) even without you becoming his fan. 😉 I hope it is now a little clearer why fooling around with Dears on the subject of Dimash is not advisable. 😎 Sorry for bad English, greetings from Germany! 🇩🇪🖖🏻

You are comparing a lemon with an avocado, or a monsteriodelicioso with a pineapple, ice cream with black forest cream cake. Either/all are perfectly fit for purpose. They sit on the same table. Dimash did not win the 2017 I Am Singer Competition because he could not speak fluent mandarin which was required to perform the prize as a Chinese ambassador for music for that year. So they made him Runnerup. Dimas could easily win a comp with his beautiful voice and guitar skills. So winning a competition is very subjective. Who is better….Europeans Brahms, Beethoven, or Bach….or Russians Tchaikovsky,Igor Krutoy, or Kazakh Dimash Kudaibergen….who are all composers. It depends on who is listening.
