Finally another arm wrestling guest that can consistently hang with Larry on the bench and truly grasps the intricacies of bench press pacing and buildup, time under tension at a certain point of ROM, etc. Levan is certainly a beast with big bench but even he hadn't been benching as consistently prior to meeting up with Larry. I had a feeling among all the competitors Larry would hit it off with Maateirwarangi because of how much they have in common. Shouts out to all my Aotearoa peeps.

Maateiwarangi would be a very popular addition to KOTT. Seems to have gained a lot of admirers with this recent publicity. I think he would be on par with maybe the lower end of the top 10 in US. Maybe one of the trio that gets talked about a lot like Derek Smith, Chance Shaw or Corey West. Or even someone like Don Underwood who is very popular, in the top 20, and has a great history in the sport.

He definitely lowered his test dose... he was on a LOT of gear (just what I visually picked up) and for sure seems like he found a lower, BETTER dose and has dialed it in. And yes, the word you might use is steroids. In the US we say gear or test. No shame to it, larry still has earned every minute and gain.. and works his ASS off
