The Beatles- ‘I Me Mine’ (Max’s Version)

This is the last song that The Beatles ever recorded together (excluding recent projects since John has passed).
One of George’s finest songs in my opinion and definitely a highlight on the Let It Be album. I tried to replicate everything as much as I could while removing Phil Spectors crappy orchestra which drowns everything out.

I still to this day can't get the hate for phil spector's additions.crappy? like what? even if he was terrible human doesn't mean we should hate everything done by him. I love all versions of across the universe, they all have different feel.long and winding for example is one thing I can't agree with Paul on, I think album version makes that song as epic as it is and not just some ballad. and I me mine's main thing are vocals for me but album version instruments just make it better

Across the universe just is too much and long and winding road drowns out some key instruments. Although I will say I love his work on George Harrison’s stuff on All Things Must Pass

I think it's because Phil Spector's additions don't really fit with what the album was supposed to be, because all the songs were arranged to not have any overdubs or anything
