So insightful and thought-provoking. Not only about the magic of the Beatles and why they became stratospheric... Strangely timely for my work and my next project. Brilliant! Thank you.

Almost perfect. But one mistake...John was not a leader. The Beatles didn't need a leader. And say they had it is the opposite of what Steve Jobs said. The Beatles were a team. All of them had the same importance in the band.

This guy is seriously lacking in his Beatles history facts, e.g. The Beatles didn't say they wanted to be bigger than Elvis, that was Brian Epstein, in frustration to a record company turning them down in early 1962, stating The Beatles "were going to be bigger than Elvis" (The Beatles amongst themselves, said that they wanted to go to "the topper-most of the popper-most"), it wasn't Epstein who decided on the Lennon-McCartney 50/50 songwriting credits, that was John and Paul's decision pre-Brian Epstein, and Brian didn't decide that George could contribute 2 songs per album (George only contributed 1 song on their first 4 albums - but as a singer, George was always a featured singer in The Beatles live performances long before Epstein arrived on the scene). Had I been sitting in the audience I would have picked this guy up on this - but as no one in the audience knew who Brian Epstein was, he was on pretty safe ground to say whatever he wanted with no push-back. But I suppose he got paid for his "talk", so that makes us all feel warm inside.
