Remember Marty what a record executive told the Beatles back in 1960, quote " guitar music is on the way out". Sure has been taking a long time to go out. People like you keep it alive and well, thank you sir!

1960 "Guitar Music is on its way out" fast fwd to 2018, almost every blues & rock band and the garden variety of subgenres has at least one guitar player. Even Rap Metal bands like Linkin Park, and Rage Against the Machine all of the beats and Raps are centered around a guitar being the main instrument, backed by drums and a bass. I bet my entire life earnings that Record Exec who passed up on the Beatles is eating his words everyday.

I know this is a beginner friendly channel and the lessons are geared as such but I though I might mention that I think the chords are played with the pinky fretting the 3rd fret of the high E string for the C and F(add9).

Dear Marty, I really enjoyed your lesson of “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”. You have a personable style that connects with your audience. However, there is one thing that I’d like to see. If you could throw some cutaway shots into your lessons of your left hand it would not only help the student but break up the single shot lesson. Thanks!
