Spells and the like have a lot of flavour already baked into the casting, when all you do is shoot, stab or punch things it is good to spice it up with some coolness, it makes your character seem more badass and it keeps a player interested . . . more so than "I attack it, is it dead? I attack again"

I like everyone's fun ideas in most situations, but Tom really brings life to the combat with his crazy ideas. As opposed to the normal slugfest that usually happens. Ricochet off wall of force? Awesome! Jiuoto is getting more creative as well and it's great!

TacticalSBR by standard laws of probability each side of the die has an equal chance of appearing during any single roll. If you roll the same die repeatedly in a short period, there's a far greater chance of variety for the different sides to show up.

i think everyone needs to re-read what their characters abilities are and what they can do because damn there were a lot of mistakes . . . . like hellish rebuke for instance, it is in response to damage, it doesn't specify it needs to be from an attack roll, so a damaging spell or effect that forces you to make a save would still trigger it
