One other thing that is worth mentioning about the Fant Mod is that you can connect the watercontainer to a seat, which will now function as an aircontainer. This will allow you to breath underwater as long as you are in the seat. The air in the container will fill automatic if its above the surface but will drain as you go under water. Very cool to make a submarine with propelor that can harvest clams or oil with the pump

Most of these mods just make sense and should be seriously considered by the developers. For real! These would make the game sooo much more enjoyable. Even if just parts of these mods make it into the game. Junction Block for example. Nice job with this video, just like all your other ones. I like your accent and how you say chemicals!! It's not as easy as adding mods to the game. Game design is an art of its own. Axolot seems to have their vision of the game, and I'm excited to see it in the next chapter. However, it would make sense for them to study the mods as this is what players actually want. Thanks! I'm always trying to make them valuable. Yeah, accents are interesting because they add a personal touch. I wouldn't consider schemicals to be part of my accent, though. Was just me not knowing how to pronounce it correctly, as it probably confused me how it can be pronounced in German. I don't like mispronouncing, but it's different if you embrace it and do it intentionally as Durf does it. Maybe it will become a thing on my channel just like the clam diving thing.

Scrap Mechanic distances are measured in "Woc trots", one Kilometer is equal to one "Herd of Woc" or "HW" for short. So, Scrap cars go one to 60 HW per minute.

It's true that I didn't know about the crane wheel. But to be fair a crafting recipe for the wheel is added. So it's not a mod part, but still a part you get with the mod.

No, since mods change game files two mods can't change the same files. In this case you would have to make them work manually, but some mods have compatibility files. If you want to learn more about this l recommend checking out my how to install mods video.

No, not really. It can be a lot of trial and error to figure this out. There's the 'Rusty Fusion Modpack (rostiger-modpack)' which I think works with the fant mod. But you could join the Fant Discord and ask there. People should be able to help you there.

Most of them are way too op, but the companion bot would be really cool if it was implementend better, maybe an upgradable bot, that at the beginning can only refine stuff, but if you upgrade it can do more things like fight with you etc, also it should be harder to craft, because it's way too cheap rn

Check out my video on how to install mods. You need to overwrite game files, so if two mods need to change the same game files, it won't work, except you do it manually, but that's a bit complicated. If you want to play with lots of mods, you should be looking for a modpack.

did you know that the player is 6 blocks tall. and a person is 6 feet tall. that means each feet is one block. that also means the player is 6 feet tall. and that again means the mannikin boot is the size of a clown shoe.

Yes! If the game only wouldn't be so crappy optimized and turn everything into a lagfest... The pipe that I used to pump water all the way to my farm causes lots of lag by itself.

If two mods overwrite the same files they aren't compatible. So most of the bigger mods aren't compatible with each other.

@@Dr-Pixel Well, I mean, if you can gather water and chemicals easily with a pump, doesn't that mean it would make sense to make oil just as easy since by the time you are using pumps is when you're in the current mid-late game? Personally, this is very convenient as I haven't seen these oil spots just everywhere, it's harder and more time consuming to go and find one of these pools as thermal vents can be found all over the ocean. This seems more balanced to me, but as people are, your opinion is still valid and if you disagree then that's fine, I simply like the vanilla way of doing things more at this point since it feels more rewarding, that is until I've run out of things to do like Skyrim orm Minecraft.

Well, game design isn't that easy, but there's still a lot to be learned from what the community does with the game. So it would probably be better if they implement things mods do. But I think Axolot has their own vision of the game that they are working on a lot.

I can not see any reason to not implement this block for example. Do you think that my game file will be broken at some point if i use mods? Maybe they are not working in the future and updates will overwrite the mod files. Can we combine all of this mods or do they use the same files sometimes?

That's what I'm wondering too. There's a lot of obvious feedback that could make the game a bit better. But to be fair, they made corn destructible because of the community, I think. I still think they could listen more to the community or inform the community with regular devblogs like it used to be. If the game updates, your world with mods will be broken. All mods would have to be updated and then there is still a chance it won't work with your save file. Maybe you can still load the world and all mod parts will be replaced with 'block not found' blocks, but that still makes everything you built useless. If two mods change the same file, you need to manually paste both changes into the file. And then there is a chance that those mods aren't compatible. But there are some people who made modpacks like this, so you don't have to.

I do put alot of efford into my world, i dont wanna risk my save file. I will keep it vanilla, even if the mods are really interesting. I just change the loot files, thats something that is not dangerous. I just have to do it again after certain updates. Yesterday i actually have tried something. I do have a world with modded parts in it. I have deinstalled the game completely and i have deleted the remaining folders manually. After reinstalling, the save file was still ok, even the modded parts where still there. That was really interesting to see. Maybe thats just because they are only "original" SM parts that are just not craftable yet. Looking forward to more real updates ;) hwve a nice day

@@turbocrash9373 You could clone your world to have fun with mods, and then continue vanilla with your original world. Yeah, you could modify a lot of the game scripts without breaking the world, as they don't change the world itself but how you interact with it. Parts that are already in the game, which you can obtain via devmode are already in the game. They won't remove them all of a sudden. Thanks!
