UHS-II cards would still have a big benefit when you come to putting them into your laptop/computer for file transfer / editing. Would be helpful if you put links to all these in the description.

Great video for someone like me who has just ordered the X100VI. Thanks for all the info. My essential accessories for my Fujifilm cameras are the Peak Design Cuff (wrist strap) and Smallrig Grip - both make handling a lot more secure. Cheers.

Great film - thanks. Have got the official Fuji adaptor and filter but cannot find any where telling me how to fit the adaptor to the lens and no thread is immediately obvious. Any clues please before I try too hard !!!

Hi, awesome video! So i have the following: - x100VI - NISI Filter UHD UV (As shown in your video) - NiSi 1/8 Pro mist filter - Original adapter ring Are there any way that I can get my pro mist filter on, and still be able to put the original hood on top? I also tried to both get the Nisi UV and the Pro mist on, but it doesnt seem possible. Any advide would be highly appreciated!!

Do you use filter while trying on the long weekend pouch? Can it fit with filter or cap?
@craig_cunha8 ай бұрын
What’s the difference in length between the filter adapter with the hood (option 1 - not including the hood) and the stand alone filter (option 2)? Is the latter a lot thinner? I am looking for the lowest profile option.
@GeorgesCamerasTV8 ай бұрын
Hi Craig, probably only 3-4mm because the adapter is essentially a filter on option 2 whereas option 1 is an adapter and uv (so it also depends on what filter you use.)

The NiSi filter system looks neat. Can you use the NiSi CPL with that hood or would you need to remove the hood to adjust the filter?
@GeorgesCamerasTV7 ай бұрын
Yes. The UV has a 49mm front thread and you can stack two filters. The hood will still go on for most CPLs and circular filters, but not VND that have a larger front thread.

Hey guys, just seeing if k&f concept or other branded filters (moment, glimmerglass, etc.) will sit flush with the NiSi adaptor meaning the hood can still fit on?
@GeorgesCamerasTV7 ай бұрын
I would say so however the adapter comes with a filter so you wouldn’t need to buy another filter… 😍

If it is just the Nisi UV adapter but not the kit. i'm really confuse with the lens hood can someone help me, what's the best product to buy, i have seen dreamy filter with lens hood, but knew name of product.
@GeorgesCamerasTV7 ай бұрын
Hey the lens good comes with uv filter which is made to protect the lens. I think the dreamy filter you are talking about is the black mist? That can go on top of the UV that comes with the hood. Or you can take off the uv and just add the mist filter. Please note without an adapter (the hood kit comes with an adapter) you can’t add filters to the x100’s. I hope this helps!

Which tempered glass can cover the new x100vi screen? I bought l armour it doesn’t cover all the screen of x100vi which can you recommend
@GeorgesCamerasTV8 ай бұрын
We just tested the Kenko and it fits 100% although the Kenko isn't a tempered glass.

Does the hood adapter fit flush or does it have the same issue as the haoge adapter and square hood one, there's now a small gap, worry is it's no longer weather sealed 😢
@analog_astronaut8 ай бұрын
Yeah I think we need a closer look at some of these filters as we have already seen that not all of the x100v compatible filters fit the x100vi properly.
@GeorgesCamerasTV8 ай бұрын
Hey guys, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by there being a small gap. Testing the kit adapter, you take off the front ring standard on the x100, and then you screw on the Nisi adapter and UV filter; these both fit precisely. Next, you can push on the hood which dots to the Nisi adapter. We couldn't see any gaps and can't imagine that there could be because it's the correct size thread, and the hood is fitting to itself, not the x100m6 lens. I hope this makes sense and clears that up for you.

the x100VI lens has an extra thread, using x100V accessories leave a small gap.

An interesting video but not the best, or most thorough I have seen. There is NO speed advantage to using a UHS-II card in a camera that does not have the relevant contact points. The only advantage would be if you could get a larger CAPACITY card or needed a tiny increase in speed when transferring your images to a computer. Odd that you did not mention other accessories such as soft shutter release buttons. Thumbrests or grips from people like Lensmate or SmallRig. Nor did you let people know that possibly the best reason for fitting the filter adaptor and filter is that without them the camera is not fully weather-resistant. Finally, these are products, not people. They are not 'guys' or 'little guys' which I found to be a quite annoying habit of yours.
