Give me 1 player trait that you tend to use, can be ANY position. Orrrrr - do you not use them?

I love shoots from distance, but I just generally like making squads which can score from a distance

I like two up top, or at the very least 1CF and 1x SS, so I love having a striker having "comes deep to get ball" when operating as a TM/DLF/F9.... pulls defenders around like a beaut. That and if I'm playing assymetrically, then "Switch ball to other flank" on my off-centre DLP (DLP with a RMD/WTM on the opposite works a treat)

@@isaacmcmanus3666 Oh my word, that sounds awesome - just every highlight is a banger from 30 yards?!

@@DaveTingerz That sounds like a very sensible move, creating space in the channels and taking advantage - very clever Dave!

The other thing that works a charm is a Fullback with good passing on support, trying killer balls, long range passes and early crosses. They end up being like a playmaker that's often going unmarked as they aren't technically a playmaker and are also operating slightly wider.

Great video. Adding the player traits is easy to forget about and overlook, but can really add quality.

Thanks Tom. You’re right, very often overlooked

I always paid attention to player traits when building tactics and scouting players. It's so hard to remove and add traits, that I rather sign somebody else that doesn't have that trait.

It is! In each part of the mini series I’ll show how to add traits in other ways. The section in todays video is just 1 of 3…

I like as many players as possible in my team to play one-twos, especially in a possession based system

nice one, that give and go movement always works well

"Likes to beat offside trap" for a pacey striker with good OTB movement is lethal I think

How come most of fm youtubers bucher scientific methid so bad. You do not know how the players would have played against these teams without the traits added. Not to downplay the info here, but comon.

Hey Albinas, I managed the previous 8 games myself. They were 8 league games against similar teams so of an equitable standard. So the experiment was 8 league games with no traits versus 8 league games with added traits. I wouldn’t say that’s butchered, but thanks for checking out the video ✌️
