Solar seems like a natural choice for a container

When i put in battery and solar generators for projects like this, we add an inside 50 amp genny plug as well so batteries can live inside temp controlled environment. You will find the battery and inverter will most likely not charge in those freezing temps. Great test though.

The Pecron E300lfp is a nice and compact powerstation great for tent camping

You were going through the power of this unit like crazy and would have to purchase many additional batteries to last even one night at the rate you were burning power. Even if you did so you would have problems recharging all the batteries as the grid input is limited to 1,800 watts

Great video, thank you! Can you help identify best solar panels to use with this unit besides the portable ones due to the limited 60V solar input? On some reviews I’ve seen they using the F3800 unit with 3 panels in parallel that are LG 365W each. 47.7VOC, 9.39Imp total of 28.17 amps potential using two 3 panel strings to connect of the F3800. Any thoughts if these will work and your panel recommendations?

I’m just building my first Container Home and man it Echoes loud, every step every word I talk the Container Echoes the sound much much louder. How do I take this Echo sound out? I don’t have much money for interior right away so i just painted it inside and I’ll be using it without interior or insulation so what part can I install something to take the loud Echo Sound out? Thank you

have a F3800 and I am looking to recharge the battery with my Erayak 4500 Inverter generator when needed per no sun for solar. Is this possible? Could I treat it just like I am charging from grid power and use a 8 gage extension cord and set my Solix to either 800 or 1000 watts?. What worries would I have concerning the amp output of my generator which has a rated output of 230/120V and 15.2/29.2 A respectively. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Greg

Looks like a good unit for emergency medical equipment power, but it's discharging much faster than I would want for an entire house. Could be useful as a temporary maintenance system until you get your generator up and running, think of something like a battery backup for your home, instead of just your computer, in a power outage. Of course the cost of the unit would determine if this is economically feasible or not, and I didn't hear a price in the video.

The solar input is limited to 60 volts. The large 550 watt panels you should might not even be able to be used with this unit as in the cold they might exceed the 60 volt input limit and fry the Anker unit. Even if they did not, they would all have to be put in parallel instead of series meaning much, much larger wires and current load. This is a fatal flaw of this unit. It is good for backup of a short blackout or for camping if you want split phase but for home use you would be much, much wiser to go with other units

Anker does this with all their units

Everybody always focuses too much on output and not enough on dolar input. Its only 2400W. Considering its output you'd at least want 4-5K

It's a Very Expensive , Short-Life , BATTERY ! Not a 'Energy Solution' … Duh !

This unit would run out of power in an hour. Not impressive at all

Yeah when you’re running 4,000 watts dumb dumb
@lovermansmith908211 ай бұрын
So it will run a half hour , forty five minutes 😊. Not the best solution. A gas or propane generator would be better in this case . Heaters draw to much power .

It is clear that you know NOTHING about solar generators and that this is nothing but a paid advertisment for Anker -- to your shame and loss of credibility.
