@@EnglishCountryLife Looking at a vegetable garden and chickens to begin with. Then likely to expand to a few sheep, keeps me in fleece for my spinning and knitting. Also maybe a couple of weaners in the distant future or goats. Other poultry also a possibility, don't think you can beat home grown Turkey @Christmas. Your videos have been very helpful and informative and very well produced and we look forward to new content appearing.

If you’re moving from outside Wales please remember that you are moving to a different country with its own language and history and culture. Don’t change the name of the smallholding (yes, unbelievably, some people are so insensitive that they’ll discard a centuries old name), learn some Welsh (Say Something in Welsh is brilliant) and be part of the community. All the best.

Top video I love books. Consider making a video on your favourite charity shop finds. I've found some amazing things to help me in this lifestyle. I'm going to rewatch this video and note a couple of books to get. Though I have most of them you mentioned. John Seymour's the books on his life are great too. My mom used to read them to us at bedtime. The story of his family and there farms.

Bought John Seymour's book years ago, fantastic writing, aspirational with sense thrown in too. Semi obsessed with house cows though. Must be a well known book in general as I now have two copies with the second given as a gift
