got the mic, but I have a humming/white noise sound in the backgrund that wont go away unless I use samson sound deck and mess with the recording settings (meaning I have to put the mic volume on such a low volume). Not sure what's causing the sound.

Could this mic fit on a Neewer NB-35 arm?

This mic should fit that arm as it looks identical to the one I got. There is a small adapter in the bottom of the hand microphone holder at the end of the arm that goes in the bottom of the Samson Meteor Mic as shown in the video. Sorry for the late reply and thank you for watching!! :)

Nice Microphone, but unfortunally, the background noise is way too present. You can check that i'm not alone to hear it, do a simple search on youtube for "samson meteor noise", you'll see. Ok, the noise I have is around -40db, but it makes it unusable for any "serious" recording. Use it for skype or what's app.

I've never done food asmr so I'm not sure how suitable it would be for that but I'm sure it would be fine. As for editing software, I've heard that Filmora 9 is good but has a watermark, never used that myself though.

I have the samson g-track , but it got damaged in a fall only the original stand broke I want either a book arm , or desk stand . I have the double Ikea micke as my desk and want to know if boom arms are compatible.

this was pretty good review. ik im very late to reply on this video. ive not found this until now. as i was looking at many other vids before that didnt tell me too much. this video really helped. i really wanna buy this one now. as i look for cheaper but good ones. audacity i have so that is np if theres some background noise. also i was using this turtle something headset with that mic and it was not that good XD cuz it was bit damaged aswell that micwire. therefore i wanted an actual mic. seperated from a headset. cuz they work alot better. i was debating on either snowball or meteor as i heard those were the best at low budget or something. also meteor sound quite ez to get the job done. u earned a new subscriber :)

The difference is not too noticeable and the Meteor is half the price! I haven't had any experience with the snowball unfortunately so I can't recommend which one is better.. It all depends on how far away you are planning on putting the microphone away from the keyboard. All microphones will pickup a keyboard noise if it is reasonably close to the microphone so I would recommend you possibly look at silent keys for your keyboard as no matter what microphone you use you will still get the keyboard sound in your audio. BikeHype I would probably recommend a shotgun microphone as it will then pick up the keyboard sounds a lot less than this microphone. A shotgun mic picks up the sound coming from the front of it and not around the back or sides. Hope this helps you out!

+Covert. Yes I believe that one does, the specific Racksoy one that I featured is not in the Amazon US store but the one I linked was a Neweer one, exactly the same product but different branding. If you look closely under the handheld microphone holder you can see that the adapter screws into the bottom so just unscrew it and it'll fit the Meteor mix

Yes I believe so, I’m currently using a blue yeti for my streams and videos and I think that it picks up less background noise because of the fact that you can adjust the gain on the microphone itself. Thank you for watching!! :)

You could but that doesn’t affect the pickup sensitivity of the mic itself, that will only turn down the input level when it goes into the pc. The yeti also has different modes like cardioid which will only pickup what it in front of it. I got the yeti given to me actually. If i didn’t then I wouldn’t have gotten the upgrade. This Samson one is more than adequate for KZbin videos!
