Great video on different gadgets 3:50 I’m actually using our spare room, blackout curtains. We don’t use them in there anymore. I use them in the car camper. They work out pretty darn good.

Typically tho, I bought it and then the weather became warm 😂 I have seen similar ones on temu for less than Amazon ;)

I have a heater very similar but use it just for the windscreen. I did notice that the wires got quite hot though when used for more than five minutes. My favourite heater though is my 120W 240v tube heater and it worked well on my below freezing cc in Essex, it's also good that it has a thermostat that turns it off so it is not a constant drain my only problem was that I had to turn it off to have a kip as my inverter made too much noise. So much of my kit though has been influenced by this channel but we all find our own little remedies at times. So jealous of the 1500W inverter you have on the Allpowers and I am thinking of investing in a good quality inverter that makes less noise.

Sounds like it’s the same thing dude - this is a windscreen demister :) I’ll keep a check on the wire heat when I properly use it, cheers dude. Yeah seen those heaters on a few other channels, but I don’t think would work very well with my set up :( albeit that wattage is very low too 😃 And dude, I am extremely lucky to have it 🥰

Some great items there Hobbies 👍 That's interesting about the power consumption on the Jackery being higher than the Allpowers 🤔 It might explain why my 20 watt tube heater drains my small power pack in less than 2 hours, when in theory, it should be able to last double that 🙁. Looking forward to your reviews matey...📢

I used a similar heater on the sidecar of my motor bike, worked a treat.

@hankcuccina5260 sadly over the years I’ve worked gas and me don’t go well together in my car :( Whenever I’ve cooked on gas (even with windows open) I always got monster migraines the next day :(

The car heater uses too high a wattage unless you have a Jackery 1000 of higher and for one night only. A good quality sleeping bag or a low wattage Stalwart electric blanket will use less than 20 watts and would last a full night on a Jackery 240.

True true, but I think for me where I have the heated hoody already (which is essentially my wearable electric blanket), my plan for this is moreso for like a 10-15 minute blast in the early mornings just to take the edge off the cold before I get up :) Using it this way would still work well for the 240 as it draws only a smidge more than my trusty 12v kettle that was paired with my 240 😁

Well, I bought a Jackery 240 when I first started car camping :) it’s not the cheapest brand but it served me well. The question first of all is, what do you want to be able to power?

@@zafiracamper it’s going to be a phone / smart watch and I want to be able to make hot drinks / and I also want the little fan you have. Also I like that electric pan thing I have seen in your videos .would the jackery work for this thanks for the help

Ah well, defo not the 240 then, that won’t power the pan. The only other ones I have are ones that I was given by allpowers to review. The Allpowers 700 would power all those bits - but defo shop around to look at prices and defo keep an eye on capacity that’s the biggy. The Allpowers 1500 (in this vid) would do all those bits and pretty much everything else, but these are not cheap.
