Thank you for your videos. I was practicing my swing as a new golfer using your videos. I finally understood atleast what i should be trying to do with my irons. So hopefully i can get better, practicing the correct way. Thanks a ton!

Looks good Chris. That trail shoulder staying under is key. Good drill.

Hey Chris, this is exactly what i needed. Clear steps in learning/feeling the driver swing. I have been suffering w my driving. One drive would be 275 next one was a dribble that barely went past ladies tee. And just didnt know what i was doing let alone fix what i was doing. Keep up the great work!

Awesome!!! Pretty frustrating to be driving it well and then get blindsided by the big miss. It’s all about managing the miss and learning how to miss it smaller.

Hit more fairways and we're all much happier. I hope you all enjoy the new drill you can take onto the course this weekend...if you're NOT snowed in of course. Timestamps for those with shorter attention spans... 0:00 Intro 1:10 Step 1 7:39 Step 2 16:08 Step 3 20:27 Closing

Really like your teaching method. Thanks! Lessons are more exciting when you are dodging errant golf balls though 😂

Hahaha I’d prefer to keep the errant shots away from my direction. I ordered a hard hat for those moments. Thanks for the nice comment.

Very nice drill as a pre-shot routine. Thanks

Glad you caught the big picture message on this one!! Thanks for the comment and wishing you much success with the drill.

@@MyGolfDNAcheers. There is no reason why it wouldn't work for the fairway woods and long irons too, instead waving purposelessly before the shot.

Loving your approach to teaching the small details....on this particular drill, I'm struggling to align the club to the toe line on the forward swing. Backswing is no problem, but on the other side the club wants to point right, feels like I'm cupping my lead wrist to even get it close with the toe up. What am I doing wrong?
@MyGolfDNA3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the nice comment and the questions. This is a really hard question to answer and be 100% accurate without seeing the swing to the lead side personally. However, depending on the strength of your grip, it’s okay to see a little cupping on the lead side. In fact, most really strong grips use the movement from flexion (wrist bow) to extension (wrist cup) as the primary factor to squaring the face through the hitting area. Whereas weaker grips will use more supination (less wrist rotation). It’s very player dependent. Each player is going to use a combination of deviation, supination and flexion towards extension! I might suggest that you start in a static address position, keep the head where it is and move the shift the hips into an impact position. Then extend the arms down the target line working the club face to a toe up position where the shaft is parallel. Take note of the wrist positions then start making small swings working back to that side. Like I said, if the grip is strong, you may have to allow for some cupping to take place post impact to get the club in the right spot. Hope that helps and let me know if you need something further.

Chris do you want Irons, Hybrids and fairway woods ball flight adjusted for draws and fades the same way? If not, which video's show how you want us to draw or fade these clubs. Also, would you want us to let the arms fall in the slow zone when hitting Irons, etc with a full swing. Thanks, Ron

You can do this drill exactly the same way. We have a new series on ball striking coming next month on the website. I’ll be releasing some of the videos on here as well.

@MyGolfDNA3 ай бұрын
Sorry I missed this Tripp...You can use this with other clubs for sure. Just make sure your backchecking the movements on camera.
