Thanks for recommending some indoor sunscreens. I moved to a hot humid state and the sun is really irritating and strong. Even in October! I started getting sunspots and wrinkles around the eyes ever since I moved here. It's from the constant squinting in the sun. So I now I never take off my shades and never go out without sunscreen. And it really improved. The sun dried out my skin and gives me a burning feeling in about 15 minutes. I avoid going out until late afternoon/ early evenings. The sun is irritating even indoors, so I really do need it inside. Unless I wanna live in darkness. I don't, but I still use curtains. As for everyone who is skeptical, look what it does to furniture, drapes, and carpeting. Even walls. They fade but you won't notice unless you move the furniture. I'm a believer, now!

Eucerin Face 30 has oil in it and makes my face oily, but I love it on my neck and chest! Olay Complete is a favorite! Differin/Cetaphil Pro burned my eyes and looked greasy. CeraVe Tinted is too orange and heavy. CeraVe Facial was a favorite for years until the formula changed. It doesn't rub in and is streaky 😢 CeraVe Ultralight burned my eyes so much and is greasy. EltaMD sunscreens are my absolute favorite, followed by DRMTLGY.

It is a great formulation! application is smooth and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. But unfortunately the pigment is too orange and it makes me look like an oompa loompa. The Cerave AM SPF is the only CeraVe SPF available in my region of Canada, and i've had the worst experience with it! It was one of the worst products for pilling! I wasn't sure if it was because I used a moisturizer underneath, but I still had issues when applying to bare skin (it was even worse in the stubble area). I LOVE the CeraVe hydrating tinted sunscreen! Like you said, it’s a bit dark at first but it settles in to match my skin tone.. I have replaced my foundation with this product. I also enjoy the CeraVe lotion sunscreen when I don’t want a tint. I also sometimes use the Eucerin daily protection face lotion. I like it, but it leaves a slight cast. I might be trying the Cetaphil redness relief in the near future in hopes that it’s as good as the CeraVe. Thank you for your amazing videos. I’ve been on accutane for 6 months and since starting that and following your advice, my skin has transformed into what I’ve always wanted.

I have been using the Differin sunscreen for months and it leaves no cast and doesn’t clog my pores at all. It’s great. It is shiny at first but absorbs within five minutes. I put it onto post serum skin so it is dry. I have also applied it to a damp face and it still goes on fine. I have very acne prone skin and use Differin’s adapolene, too. I picked up Cerave’s AM moisturizer and tinted sunscreen based on your recommendation and will try those once I run out of my Differin.

Just bought the Cerave AM moisturizer and it pilled like crazy. Since there’s a cast I had to rub it in, but once I started rubbing it pilled. I have stubble on my face and all the flakes got caught in there too.

I love the Olay Complete. I started using it when you recommended it in another video. Also another one I love that you previously recommended is the Walgreens spf 50 for sensitive skin. My skin is light and I found the Cetaphil tint a touch too dark.

So, I love the Olay makeup primer with spf 30. I can put it on my eyelids and around the eyes with no stinging. And it performs well under makeup. I wonder how the ingredients in that other Olay product compare. I got mine in the bargain bin for $9.99, but when I wanted to repurchase, it was $30. I'm kind of sad. Maybe I will try that other Olay product, instead. Thanks for all you do, and have a lovely day, doc!

I loved the Olay sunscreen for years! I'm interested in how the Cetaphil Redness Relief performs on my skin, but I'm currently using Cerave Tinted Sunscreen. In my opinion, the Cerave is fine, I just don't like how it transfers and it is a bit greasy on my skin.

I’ve been using the acnecide one here in the UK and just bought a second bottle. Its really good, gentle if you’re using acne treatments as well. It works well under makeup if you wear it. My only caution is that if your face gets wet it could run into your eyes and it will sting! It emulsified and washes off easily without having to over cleanse. Great for Uk this autumn/winter especially if you’re working in doors a lot 👍

Olay Complete Sensitive CREAM spf 15 has been my go to for 10-15 years. It is thicker than the lotion, but has only mineral sunscreen in it and creates a nice moisture barrier. It’s also super cheap ($6-8/jar). The only problem is that it always seems to be on the verge of being discontinued... I have to buy it online. I’m tempted to send Dr Dray a jar; curious what might be comparable or maybe give its profile a boost so they start selling it in stores!

I tried that tinted Cetaphil moisturizer and I took it back the next day. It made me more red and it was so, so heavy. I do love the nighttime one, though, and have been using it under my tretinoin. I also noticed that Cerave yet again changed their ingredients in their AM formula, but for me this is actually a good thing! I use to use their older formula with the parabens and I loved it. Then they changed it and my skin hated it. I noticed that the parabens are back so I went out and purchased it and am really hoping my skin reacts nicely to it like it use to!
