The Best Estuary Lures For Fish Frenzies!

Today i explore two spots one of which i was surprised by a school of kingfish the other spot held a ton of Flathead which munched our lures!

My setup:
- sirenna 2500 hg reel
- shimano viper fgx rod 7,1 2-4kg
- 10 lb braid
- 6 lb liter tied on with double uni

well flattie have pretty smooth scales. but they do have plenty of spikes along their spine. but the worst is their spike either side of their head, those ones are famous for bad cuts.

I am also wondering what kind teethy creatures often bite soft plastics in half especially when you put S-factor on when fishing at botany bay or Sydney Harbour ? they are not Tailors I know for sure

i find it’s often leather jackets, they have very shape beak like mouths and can easily chew through lures. i’ve seen it first hand on many occasions.
