I had spinal surgery and things didn’t go as planned unfortunately I lost control on my right foot(drop foot). So I haven’t fished since the beginning of the year slowly recovering can’t wait to get back on the water!

God bless you man. I've had several lumbar spine fusions and need pain medication for intermittent chronic pain. I love to go fishing as it sort of takes my mind off the pain
@Southpawreb7 ай бұрын
I know what you mean I've had two spinal cord surgeries, I've lost the feeling in my finger tips (very difficult to tie lures on) and lost a lot of control in my legs. I just now started to get back to fishing. Very difficult to launch and load my boat but I'm going to learn how to do it. Hang in there brother we can do it.

Here near Charlotte. Been killing the bass about 30 yards off shore. Popping a texas stlye worm. Throwing towards bank. But catching them sorta deep

One worth adding that has been producing a lot for me in the past two weeks the Berkley Nessie 5" and 7" are soft body glides at like $10 that absolutely produce fish
@TelemarketerTroll7 ай бұрын
This BIG TIME. I won't spend ludicrous amounts of money on a glide bait. $10 for a Berkley Nessie is an all day catch lure.

Weightless 4.5 roboworm in Margarita Mutilator. Try it out. I’m in Colorado, and have finally been getting them on that specific bait. I used it because of Tyler’s recommendation lol

I feel you, A few days ago I got out pretty early and sure enough the shad were running the banks spawning but I didn't have any luck shallow, dragged an underspin in about 10ft got a good bite then it spit the hook and nothing for the rest of the day. Today I was fishing from the bank and saw a couple beds in about a foot of water, the fish on one of the beds were so finicky any time I pulled anything through the bed they bolted. The other one they didn't even care what was happening, they were just rolling around doing the deed.

Just used the weightless wacky worm on my home lake, sunrise to sunset and didn’t get a bite!!!! I watched fish come look at it and laugh at me, will never use again!!! I’ll be going back to my trusty Texas rig senko

What is your opinion on Slobberknockers and Snap Jigs?
@darthjar91178 ай бұрын
I’m starting to think bass eat whatever they want. They have no idea what month it is. In NW Indiana the bass are so confused because the weather has been so inconsistent. I’m not even sure the spawn has started yet.

Just caught a 4.65lber last week put of the Barbee Lake Chain on a spinnerbait. They wouldn't even look at a wacky worm, Texas rig, or swim jig, or lip less crank. I agree. They just eat whatever they want

Man I love your videos. My go-to on KZbin. If fishing in shallow waters or over hydrilla here in Florida, would you still use flouro for the leader? You have to have a leader because of the heavy pressure our lakes are receiving the fish a line weary. Been playing around with a mono leader and it stays nice and high. Haven’t fished it yet.

Great content! The spinnerbait bite is still on fire right now on the Ohio River. Top water is starting to come into play but is hit or miss depending on river current.

Same here in NY, the fish just started moving up this week, and the water temp raised 10° in the last couple days. I usually fish tiny lakes in April because they warm up faster.
