I have the 38mm ML05 & the 36mm "Dirty Dozen" D12 and they're absolutely perfect watches for the money in my opinion. I got them both during an AliExpress sale and used up the "coins" extra discounts that I had saved up. Both came in at less than £40 each which is incredible given the specs. Looking forward to see what else Militado come up with going forward. Great review too btw 👍🏻

The hands are the only false note here - they should taper as they get towards the center, rather than being the same width throughout. Interestingly, they do taper on the cream dial version.

I ordered a Flieger Type-B dial ML05 for my friend, and he loves it. He has much thicker wrist than me - and he has just a normal wrist. So I have too thin. The ML05 is not terrible size for, but very far from being great. Actually 38mm case diameter is okay, but the lug distance is too much. As far as I know, the new ML08 is also 38mm but the lug distance is considerably shorter. Maybe, I will make try with that.

Love a decent field watch, all the practical stuff is there (drilled lugs and decent lume 7:26 ) would prefer sapphire and the 38 is more likely to fit, need to get one in for review. Nice work

The strip is cheap, the yellow band gets dirty fast and the holes wear out fast. The crystal is not domed, but boxed. 5:34: The slightly larger ML05 has indeed a screw-down crown.

Good review 👍. It's a classic looking watch and strangely, I think the mineral crystal is one of the best things about it. I paid the same money for a Berny titanium with sapphire and a full lume dial that does last all night, but the Berny does have a press on case back. I'm not keen on the totally sterile look, it should say Militado somewhere.

This watch design is from the 60s, a 34mm US mil-w-46374 spec, first made by Benrus, Hamilton and Elgin. Benrus did a civilian version the Benrus 3061 worn by Steve McQueen in Bullitt. They have a reissue which is 40mm (!) and costs 700 dollars. Best stick to this ML07 😊

ML07 is almost the same looking as the Rdunae RA03. Except it is 36mm and the RA03 is closer to original, 34,5mm. Very great size for me, I only have 16cm (6,3") wrist. I had a ML05 in my hand, and I like it very much as for fit and finish, general layout, used materials and VH31. I will have a Militado for sure, only the model is in question. Maybe the ML08, I love those vintage big Arabic numbers.

I have the RA03 as a work watch. It takes the beating well but being small helps, also looks fine on my larger wrist. Reliable and hard wearing so far. The crystal scuffs fairly easily so the only week point plus the original strap didn’t last very long. An excellent watch and glad I bought it. It should last me for years compared to the couple years I normally get out of my cheap work watches.
