Hi Matt - a potential idea for you to include in your reviews would be an assessment of whether the asset you're reviewing would work or could be integrated with other popular marketplace assets. For example - could the Interactive World asset be used with the weather system in the very popular Ultra Dynamic Sky asset. It might even be a good tutorial idea on how to get different assets to "play nice" in a single project, and that you have to be careful when planning a project which assets you select. I agree with this idea! There are plenty of assets on the marketplace that seem like they could be used, but may require extensive setup with other assets. Oceanology and Interactive World is perfect example of a tutorial people may enjoy

Hey Matt, you’re the man! Seriously thank you for your help and what you do for the community. I have a request if you’re taking them. Could you look into a third person or first person vent crawling system? Similar to Dead Space? I would really like to see how you do it and I think a lot of people could gain something from that. Great vid as always. About the fixed camera system : You mention how the player controls change during the camera switch. This could make a for a pretty interesting tutorial, as I'm sure many would encounter this issue when setting up such a system.

Request: can you or anyone direct me to a free asset for UE4.27 (or at least tutorial) that has a Water Jet or Water steam Emitter (Niagara or cascade)? - for a water faucet/shower and steam vents? (Im sure a free asset has it, but dont know which. And I prefer an actual Emitter Sys, not a plugin, unless it is lite.) Thanks I need a starter example to learn 3 things: 1) how to make the long particles follow velocity angle (in Niagara I cannot find this setting, only Gravity and or setting velocity to -700). 2) How to make the water particles collide with the player and floor - without being overkill that lags the game. 3) Is it possible to make particles hit a Water Material, and make ripples? E.g. a bathtub or sink - after the Water Jet Emitter plays. Thanks

I gotta be honest, that Control Rig Sample Pack royally pissed me off. And here's the why. The way the person who created that Mech control rig is EXACTLY how the HUMAN control rig should function. It never stretches the mesh at any points, and that's a huge deal for me because I use Unreal Engine for my short films in animation, not for video games. So the ability to make adjustments to a control rig in sequencer without it stretching the mesh would be a HUGE deal in saving me loads of time. All that mech did was make me royally mad at the fact that I know what I need exists, I just don't know how to recreate it.

Nice but can you please put overlay text at each new asset, and say UE4/5 or UE5 only? Because it is very depressing to see the first asset, something very cool for free, only to go to UEM and find out it is 5x only. I h8te the engine division because some of us cannot move to UE5 yet (held back by paid assets that only work for 4x).

Thanks for the support Jumbo! From what I know, they're pretty well optimised, but I've not done an extensive amount of research into it just yet so I'm not sure what it'll be like on all platforms. But from what I've seen, it's very good!
