Hi there. We’ve been camping up there since our 3 boys were babies 34 years ago. We mostly camp at the next bridge downstream. A bit more room down there. Some fantastic family memories made up there. Our boys learnt to swim there. I would park the old Holden kings wood and she wouldn’t move for a week while we enjoyed natures playground

34 years wow! Such a great place to holiday with kids and let them run wild. Yeah, I've often found camping down the river is better when there's a few people around. Beautiful place with so many great little spots dotted along the river there.

Thanks for the awesome adventure, that spot was amazing and the drone shots were great! There's not many free camps as good as that across the whole of Australia I reckon. Next time I think you need to take a surfboard with ya to float down the river so ya don't wack ya bum on the rocks 😂😃🤙

Those mossie like bugs are non-biting midgies (Chronomids) We get them in the Snowy Mountains. Some nights you have to breath through your teeth.

Breathe through your teeth! Yikes 😬 Yeah they didn’t bite or cause any harm, they were just everywhere. Strange that our other nights there were fine and it was just that one night they all decided to come out.

Yep, it'll get a lot worse with videos like this. Soon enough it'll get shutdown just like many other great camp spots have been.
