Ingredients:
3 cups of steamed rice
5 thick bacon slices
3 medium size carrots
3 spring onions
3 eggs
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1 Tbsp rosemary
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp of salt
Preparation method:
Wash and drain medium grain rice directly from the rice cooker pot. Use a 1:1 ratio of water to rice. Add the rosemary, paprika, and salt, cover and cook.
In the meantime, chop spring onions. Set aside.
Shred carrots, set aside.
Slice bacon strips into half-inch squares. Set aside.
Beat the eggs with 1/4 tsp salt.
Bring 2 tablespoons of olive oil to medium heat in a large non-stick frying pan. Pour the eggs, stir and flip. Set aside. Cook and stir bacon pieces over medium heat for 8-10 min. Sauté bacon until it's golden brown and crispy. Spoon it out. Add and fry carrots and spring onions with bacon grease. Keep frying for two minutes. Set aside.
By now, the rice is cooked. Cool it down and fluff the rice before frying.
Mix rice with all fried ingredients over medium heat in a large frying pan. Mix thoroughly after adding soy sauce.
