You should have at least a million subscribers with the type of tips that you're posting/sharing. You're all substance and no flash and that's not a bad thing. It's like this channel is KZbin's best kept secret. Keep up the great work and thank you!

By far, the best teacher on KZbin! Using what I’ve learned from you, I played 9 yesterday, hit 7/9 GIR even with no warm up. Had one bad drive behind a tree (missed GIR) and the other missed green was a 210 yard par 3 into a stiff wind. Solid iron strikes on all holes. Confident and powerful. Golf is so much more fun!

Clay, as always…….your videos are so informative and aspirational. Can’t say I’m there yet but you give us something to shoot for. Agree with the prior comment, you should have millions and millions of subscribers.

Without question, IMHO some of the best visuals and descriptions out there. Now I just need to find a BFN to hammer through my ball. :) Thanks Clay and team!

Mr. person. I have a golf coach and he has a LOT of really good students. He says that one of his teenage girls has men's clubs and that a 2-year junior should maybe have women's clubs. Can you do a video on what size your club needs to be.

Top speed golf , I have a question for whoever can answer. What would cause my grip especially on full swings to literally come apart? I have this issue. At the finish I check my hands and they are not on the club like they were at address. Any advice or video you have is greatly appreciated

Question: I've been taking videos of my swing trying to emulate compressing the ball with forward shaft lean at impact. What I've noticed is that my arms throughout my swing can not extend straight especially at impact. I'm 65 but still pretty limber. I get a full turn with shoulder past the ball during back swing and take the club back wide, but both my elbows need to bend, not just my back elbow. Also on the follow through my lead elbow pulls in no matter how I try to keep it extended. I actually hurt to keep both arms extended during most of the swing. I watched slow motion videos of the pros and proper swings and I see they are mostly fully extended. My question is am I just not physically capable anymore due to age. I know it's a hard question to answer without seeing my swing in action, but I thought maybe this is something that others have a problem with. I've tried to properly swing in slow motion. Although I can do it properly slowly it does hurt my back and shoulders, which both areas are problems these days. When I strike the ball with a good smash factor I can still hit a 8 iron 140 no problem even 150 at times. When I was younger that number was 160. I never took a video back then or measure my swing speed etc to know if there's a big difference. Today my swing speed with an 8 iron is between 75 and 81. And I was hitting down into the turf too much taking huge divots at times. I purchased a divot board last weeks and noticed my divots were behind the ball mostly and the path at times was outside/in. I'm slowly getting that corrected. That's from lack of practice and early in the season. I was taking a divot at the ball maybe slightly in front and after years past. My body limits the practice I can do. So age is a factor in that sense for sure. But I'm still very limber as far as turning on the ball, I just suffer when swinging hard. I have a very slow looking swing on video. And it doesn't look like I'm driving into my shots at impact. I can swing harder but it does bother me. Being I have a driver swing speed of around 90 - 95 figure that's decent for my age. I'm just not happy with how my arm folds at impact and not having full arm extension during parts of the swing. Any comments appreciated. I'll get to a lesson after I've had some time to work on the things I'm learning in Clay's videos. My fear is I don't find an instructor who is good enough to recognize what I can do and my physical limitations.

It could be very simple. If you're arms are bent at impact, you're too close to the ball? That could be posture (hunched) or distance (your feet to the tee) or maybe both. Also, where are your hands on the grip? Are you choking down towards the club head OR just holding on at the very end? Did you have the clubs measured and fitted for your height/weight etc? I don't think age should mean your arms won't extend, particularly as you have stated that you are very nimble (limber). My brother is nearly 70 years of age, plays off single figures and consistently out drives me by 20 - 30 yards (I'm 59) although I don't play anywhere near as often as him. My point is sure, he's tightening up a little with age, slowing down, putting on some weight but man, can he hit a ball!! On another note, I too am loving Clay's videos. I've just got back into golf after 9 years away, concentrating on family. I'm a natural slicer of the ball, every drive more or less. I watched a few of Cay's videos and next day went out on my local course. ONE slice in the entire round!!! I was dumbfounded! Now I'm back to the videos to fix my iron shots! lol. Good luck with your golf Bert, I wish you well.
