Hi Beth - I’m a fairly new subscriber and am only part way through this video but couldn’t wait to tell you how much I’m enjoying this! My coloring is virtually identical to yours and I’ve long searched for the perfect gray brow. Thank you for the kind words! I did put a lot of thought into this one because I think the humble brow pencil appears to be a more significant power player in the cosmetics world than most of us would suspect 😂 I love the Tom Ford so much more than I expected. I’m wearing it today with pretty much no other makeup. It’s so good!

Wow! Great video. I have dark ash brown brows and have really been into doing my brows since going gray in 2016. The color comparison is very helpful. Currently I’m using Senna cosmetics sketch a brow in Ash brown which is a mechanical pencil and Glossier boy brow. I also thought it lasted forever! Now I see why

Great video Beth, my brows are dark brown(almost black) with a few grey on both. So far the Charlotte Tilbury brow gel is my favourite, a very tiny brush and fills in my sparse areas. I think she might be discontinuing it because the light brown is not available, so I have to use dark brown which I don’t mind, I think it makes me look more youthful. I do have to practice with brow pencils more. You look beautiful as always and wish you a great week 👩🏻‍🦳🤗💞

Thank you, Louise! It’s funny but I agree the darker brows do look more youthful. I can see in the footage that I really like the Tom Ford on camera but it feels somewhat surprising in person. That CT product sounds nice. Hope you’re doing well 💖💖💖

This was a truly novel twist on brow products. I don't think I've seen anyone else do the gray brow. Mine are still brown, but when the time comes I'm going to look to you. :)

Great, really informative video! Per oz pricing rather stunning. My hair color is very similar to yours.. maybe even lighter silver overall. I have never liked using pencils… I just like a little fill in of the right color to define and slightly darken. My favorite go to is no longer available but thankfully is in a pan with enough product, I kid you not, to last generations! It’s from Tarte- volumizing brow powder in grey, with benefits 24 hr brow setter gel. For travel and quicker use, I like Jones Road pencil in gray, which is new and works in one step for me. Dior used to have a universal brow pencil that was good, I noticed they have a waterproof option in gray brown which looks promising. I’ve also used a grayish eye shadow in the past with a good brow brush, not a spoolie, before I found the Tarte powder. Glad your mom is feeling better! And yeah, brow pencils and mascara are total money grabs!

Ahhh, thank you so much for all of these product suggestions. I will make a follow-up with all of these great viewer recommendations. I had been eyeing the Jones Road pencil, but I must have missed my notification email. I analyzed the value of that pencil in my previous video, it was a good value on a price per ounce basis. I didn’t love the brown color and wanted to try the new gray color Thanks so much for the super kind comment 💖

I LOVE the economic evaluation of the brow pencils - so interesting! I recently bought the Boy de Chanel in Grey and it's pretty good, however am going to try a gel next as I think that might be a better format for me.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the numbers portion of this video. I think it’s fascinating how companies position their products. The brow pencil has been a hot launch for a lot of companies for a while, and it really makes sense. I’ve tried one Chanel brow product but I didn’t love the color. Great formula, but it wasn’t enough to save it. 💖

Interesting video! I am a very big fan of the Jones Road pencil for my sparse brows and they just introduced a gray shade. The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eyebrow Pencil is virtually identical to the Tom Ford in ingredients and performance (and offers more shades) but is $48 without a refill.

Thank you for the tips! I tried a previous Jones Road brow pencil color and found it too warm and was waiting for the gray color. I will definitely try it. Thanks for the Bobbi Brown recommendation.

I loved this comparison! I have thicker brows that need some control, so I like the color "granite" from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It's called Flexible Hold Tinted Eyebrow Gel (Sephora). Despite the name, it isn't too dark and it's easy to control the coverage.

Came here to mention the Granite shade from Anastasia BH which comes in every format they do. I bought my mum the Brow Powder Duo and she's super happy with it and has hardly any brow hairs to speak of thanks to the 60's!

My favorite eyebrow product is Nyx pencil in 'charcoal'. It's actually an eyeliner but it works in my brows. Just draw it on and spooley it out. Can sharpen it when it get dull and it's cool, not warm, which is what I need. Anything warm toned looks red toned on me. I think it's around $7.

This is an awesome suggestion! A pencil at $7 is sure to be a great value. I’ll have to pick one up next time I’m at Target 🎯
