Super happy to see the return of Goniloc. My top albums from 2021 were Warrior Path’s “The Mad King” Blaze Bayley’s “War Within Me” “Embers of War” by Eternity’s End The “Reverence” cover EP by Sorcerer “Until the Darkness Goes” by Apostle of Solitude “Menschenmühle” by Kanonenfieber The “Ice Cold Lust” single from Sabïre And Morgul Blade’s “Fell Sorcery Abounds”. 2021 didn’t bring that much to the table for me in regards to new Metal, and most of what I found was traditional Metal. With some more time to digest some of the music here, Suffering Hour definitely makes my list as well, it’s fantastic.

Speaking of black metal, both the Fluisteraars and Tardigrada 2021 releases were particularly tasty.
