True did the same thing for my PX4 order. They wanted to confirm one of the color choices on the gloves I believe because it differed from that section on the pads. Contacted just hockey and they reached out to me to confirm. Awesome that they care that much because it would be easy enough to make it as is and say that’s what was selected 🤷♂️

I just got new PX3 with diamond glide sliding material. It works so well. I cannot compare to weave since I never had them (I replaced my 20.2 with "fast glide" that I added PPF on knee block). These PX4 look really nice but I needed something more flexible on the knee to compensate for my narrow bf.

How well does that slide compared to the Vaughn slide?

Love the video. Can you make a comparison video on this pad and the Warrior G7 ? Which pad do you personally prefer to play in and why? Which pad has a more narrow leg channel?

Great video......looking to get a full custom set. Currently in the Optik 3 because I thought it was the only pad that'd help my older hips with 5 hole coverage, however talking with a coach they recommended this pad. I wasn't a fan of the catalyst but this is obviously different. It seems that with really proper fitting and a single break in the roll these might also work for a narrower fly goalie.......looking at your butterfly it doesn't look a ton wider than my own. Would you recommend these for a bit narrower goalie who likes a super stiff pad? I have been thinking the optik was the only option for me but seems my prior 5 hole lack of closure was purely a product of stock sizing. Thanks for the help!

I can't speak to how much you'd be able to force a more aggressive Z shape in these with a single break. You might be able to break them in and get them closer to the MAX core shape, but from the factory they certainly won't be that shape. Based on my experience with the Optik MAX core, where for me, the core was TOO aggressive and even going down a size I would order a straighter pad and go back to the FLY core.

Not a pad comment, but we have a tailor nearby who will fix any goalie pad or equipment bag issue. My kid loves Bauer pads but the velcro straps invariably tear off.

I've brought some gear to a local tailor to fix issues, always handy to have them around!
