In 2023, I have lost 32 pounds so far on a plant-based diet. The key to finally losing weight for me was accepting that calories matter and I still need to get my minimum protein requirement when calorie restricting. The protein piece was a game changer for me. I have been plant-based more than a decade and feel the plant-based community focusses on the abundance principle, and that you don’t need to worry protein. These are the two things that I needed to re-address in order to get the scales to move.

I make mine very similar with the addition of chopped zucchini because I always have it in my home. I also occasionally add a couple small chopped potatoes. Love lentil soup, yours looks delicious!!
