THE BEST HOMEMADE YEAST ROLLS!!!

Bake another dozen for Sunday dinner. I added 4 cups all purpose flour, one stick softened butter, and 3 egg yolks. My dough was nice, silky, and sticky. They came out moist, buttery, silky, melt in your mouth rolls. Did not need any butter after they came out of heaven. Yummyluscious. Melt in the mouth goodness. Froze remainder of dough. Gonna thaw out Tuesday and bake half dozen to serve with roasted spatchcock chicken, lemon butter shrimp, rice and gravy with stuffing and fried asparagus in cast iron skillet. Ooooh. Having a ball discovering culinary skill. Thank you for making me look GOOD to my mom and five sisters. 71 years old in Baltimore. Thank you AGAIN.

I've made these several times now, and this is the perfect recipe that allows fantastic flexibility. Some of mine (so far): •coconut milk and coconut oil instead of milk and butter; 1.5c evaporated milk and either 0.5 water or coconut milk. (I plan to try adding powdered milk at some point.) •0.5c brown or 1/3c white sugar in place of honey. •using 2c whole wheat flour in place of 2c AP flour. (I haven't tried the texture of more than 1/3 total whole wheat yet, but it'd simply be denser & chewier.) •I brush the tops with the leftover egg whites for the perfect brown🤗 I highly recommend this recipe and especially the technique. It'll make a bread baker out of anyone! ❤️✌🏼
