Greetings from an Brit who existed the Brexit and moved to Finland. I love langos I loved eating them when I went to E. Slovak Republic in the early 2000's I loved eating them at the local market with my best friend a Slovak lady who used to be my neighbour in the UK. It was one of the best reasons to be British....the fact that we could have friends living near us from around the world and the EU. What a disaster the Brexshit is.

Thanks, TC, for showing something so banal and, yet, so brilliant that I'm surprised that I didn't think of it. (cough, cough.) Adding oil to the stand mixing bowl just prior to stopping it to prevent the dough from sticking is pure genius. Which leads to the amazing paradox of cooking oil. After proclaiming that oil will help "cling" film adhere better to your bowl, you then use oil on cling film to PREVENT it from sticking to the langos as it rises. I suppose it's like a thermos bottle: keeps hot, hot and cold, cold. :-)
