Thank you for Watching and Asking Questions...I love that!! I do not know anything about registries....if you had to pay, I probably would not do unless a de minimis amount. I use a Kryptonite lock Level 7. I picked that lock because Level 7 is perfect for where I live and you can buy Kryptonite Insurance...which i did for my Roxy. It was around $34.95 for years and replacement cost of $2500. To claim...need only file a police report. For the X... Foremost Insurance made the most sense. And Road Side Coverage/Rescue included. The Kryptonite lock...is a Ulock and Cable Combo...light weight and easy to carry and cost around $70.

@ Helpful Bruce, thanks. Both Bike Index and 529 Garage are free. You should check them out. You can register your bikes, get notified of stolen bikes in your area, and then even report when stolen bikes are found / recovered. I’d love to see a video from you on this topic (if you are taking requests). All the best and keep up the good work.

I decided to just save my own money and throw it into a savings account...I like the idea of insurance but not having to fight with them to get my money. As a poor person, gonna be hard not to spend it on more ebike stuff though lol. Thanks for the info Bruce!

100%....I did not hesitate. Get replacement coverage....it is only about $30 more a year. AND I forgot to mention in the video...you get roadside coverage. Thank you my Friend!

Thank you for the support my Friend. I shopped around and Foremost was the most comprehensive and affordable. They have a Niche in RVs and Bikes that most companies do not compare. I have a bike lock with theft coverage but it is no where near as good as this insurance. For an expensive and fast bike, insurance is wise.

What about alarms or air tags? Are those recognized sometimes as well?

@@AaronHendu ...I do not think any of those give you $$ protection. With my lock...I had to buy coverage (it was like $39 for 2 years for $2,500 of theft only). AND---Bike dependent.....that lock coverage is only for the one bike that I registered. I would not buy insurance for cheaper bikes...but to replace the Graffiti X---around $4,700....so the insurance is worth it. As always, thank you my Friend!

I do not think it will be....except for those high speed bikes AND then only when the Government requires registration. We are years away from that...BUT with reckless riding on the street....it makes the "years" get shorter.....

Yes...very for the coverage provided. Biggest piece of mind.....I do not even have to lock it up and if it is stolen I am covered. AND if I crash it, I am covered. AND Roadside/Trail Coverage if I Breakdown...free Towing and Rescue. State Farm would have been much higher and they SUCK anyway.
