Greeting from Florida. I will be coming to Rome to go on a cruise end of September. I will be in Rome for one and a half days,from your list on the first day is the half day what do you suggest I go and see. One the one day what should I do. I know I would like to go to the Vatican City and some of the surrounding churches and site also I want to go to the Trevi fountain and some others. Please help. I enjoyed your videos. Thank you for your comment. You can do the Vatican museums on the half day. In particular you can buy the evening visit to the museums it is a great experience and it is a little less busy. On day two you can do pretty much all of the other attractions because they are all walking distance from each others. Start at the Pantheon to beat the crowd. Also can you give me an idea the cost of a maxi taxi for 6 people to downtown. This is our first trip to Europe. I really appreciate all your help. Thanks in advance.

We stayed a few times at the Hotel Ponte Sisto that is really close to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We really liked it and it was not terribly expensive. We have stayed at the Monti Palace as well. It is also a great hotel but not very close to most of the attractions other than the Colosseum. Regarding the taxi we have never taken a 6 people taxi so we don't really know sorry.

Is a rome city pass worth buying? Apparently the city pass gives you free entrances to these sites.
