By far, this is my favorite MRE. When I got mine, I never got the beef stick or Twizzlers. I remember getting M&Ms or Skittles. It's been a while since I actually jumped into one of these. Orange beverage powder was my favorite of the other two offered but pure culinary perfection was that jalapeño cheese spread. I would add a little to my chili mac for some extra spice and it was great! I was never a big fan of the jam unless it was strawberry.

The best MREs to me is the chili and beans one. Pretty much any of the "soup" ones are good if you have time to heat them. They're kinda trash if you're on a quick lunch in the field. Pretty sure I've had every MRE that exists a billion times over abd I really hate the chili mac one. I just dont like the ones with attempts at pasta. Mushy and gross.
