I discovered Acid Bath as an awkward teenaged metal head. Circa 24 years back. All of my pals at school were elitists, so I mostly kept my mouth shut about loving the band. Too melodic & apparently not trve OR brvtal! I beg to differ. Shit, Cheap Vodka goes pretty goddamned hard. My love for anything Dax touches runs deep. What a talented & underrated vocalist. Have you ever noticed how he hits higher notes? Like, watching footage from shows?

I've seen him probably 20 + times. I live in southern Illinois, and me and my brother used to drive down to Lafayette Louisiana just to see him perform. He's fkn amazing ! And Tess, his drummer at the time is cool too. We'd hang out after the shows and party with him. Very humbled and down to earth guy !
