It is great to see that Singapore also offers some proper greener rides away from the usual city scape. Loved the vibrant wall art in China Town giving us a glimpse of how people used to live there. It seems a crying shame that those character full old antique shops are going to be raised to the ground for utilitarian reasons. Slick modern architecture ends up having no soul.

That was where I have grown up in Chinatown with mural paintings on the walls. A few weeks ago I went for a trail walk near Bukit Timah Junkyard (about 21:00 in this clip), and I slipped and fell hard on my back while walking down the slope. It was a wet weather day!

This is my second post today, after commenting on the first few minutes only, earlier. Now, I have returned to watch the entire video. The content started strong and got even better and better as it went on. The mix of bikes, anthropology-lite, and amazing sights to see made for enjoyable viewing. Thanks so much for giving your viewers such a terrific tour of Singapore.

Nice riding video. Singapore is beautiful. Very clean and not that noisy. Very colorful and the wall paintings are beautiful. Like the TWC sign, quick notice on your part. It's great to have a tour guide(I assume a follower). Thanks for sharing you two(or three)...🎥😃👍👌👊💪🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♂️🙏

Thanks for the tour of Singapore. I hope Nini start a part time business doing bike tours for tourists, unless she already does that and it’s covered on a prior video. Sorry still a few videos behind on catching up with your Singapore adventure. Have a good week to all.

Wow! After just a few minutes of viewing this video, you showed us more about Singapore than we'd likely see anywhere else on KZbin, seems to me. Everything was so well done -- camera work, roads travelled, sights seen, your usual easygoing and informative narration, the cool folding bikes, and of course the amazing overview of the multicultural way of life on the island-nation. Touring with three people changes things up in just the right way as we get an additional knowledge base about the locale from your “fellow traveler/cyclist.” Very impressive content! Will come back soon to finish watching...

On the topic of mountain bikes, there is actually a fairly big mountain biking scene here. In fact, there is one small MTB course right there at the old turf club. There are also several bigger trails slightly north of where you guys were around the Bukit Timah and Bukit Panjang areas.
@TwoWheelCruise2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info! I thought there must be some kind of trail nearby the turf club area. We're gonna have to find some MTB to use for our next trip there.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. The more of these I watch, the more I want to visit . . . maybe live. One of the nicest China Towns I've seen. I especially like the art work on the walls. So realistic looking. "Rails to Trails." I just received my invitation for membership. I think it's a great idea. There are so many abandoned railway lines that can be used for riding trails here in the US. I must say, it was a blessing that you found a friend in Ninijiang who was obliging to tour you both around various areas of Singapore. Areas you might not have discovered otherwise. By the way, it would be nice if you took as back to your store, TWC 😊.

Yes, Singapore has really impressed us and it seems like a great place to live. Nini was also a great guide and we're grateful we were able to see so many more unique places thanks to her. That TWC shop was pretty cool to see too haha

Very nice. My favorite part was the freeway underpass, going from total darkness to bright day light. I like how the camera captured that moment. I wish there were rails to trails where I live (in California). How much bumpier is the ride between the foldable bike and the road bike?
@TwoWheelCruise2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that was a really cool experience. The smaller the wheel, the more bumpy it will be on rougher roads. But of the path is smooth, you won't notice a difference.
