The BEST One Yet! LMR Cruise-in 2023: Event Recap & Highlights w/ Mustangs, Lightnings & Other Fords

You know you're doing something right when you get to say "the biggest and best LMR Cruise-in yet" every year! The 2023 LMR Cruise-in was just about as perfect as one could ask for. The one-day event was held at Texas Motor Speedway for the third consecutive year. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our customers and event attendees, the LMR staff for their commitment and hard work to ensuring that everyone had a great experience and the Texas Motor Speedway staff for letting us use their world-class facility.

And I FINALLY get to see Landan LOL! Next year Maxine and I will have stepped up our game for the multiple anniversaries/celebrations - Mustang's 60th Anniversary, my 60th birthday, and LMR's 25th Anniversary - and we WILL meet Landan in person! May even make the short drive to Waco to pick up parts in person. Already so excited for Cruise In 2024! Again, thanks for the great event, I had a BLAST!!!

I was my first time to attend, I know a lot people probably complained about the time it took to get in, but hey I didn't think it was all that bad, the outside crew seemed on top of it, really proactive, rather than reactive. I enjoyed it...................... On complaint I have is.... wish I had a little longer on the track.. but I know everyone gets their chance..LOL

Thanks for the comment! In the past, the wait times to get into the venue was almost an hour, maybe longer. This year, we really cut it down to maybe 10-15 minutes top. Which was a huge improvement. As for the time on the oval, yes, the time wasn't as long as people would hope. But Texas Motor Speedway officials have done this kind of stuff before and knew the best way it would work. With the amount of people that we anticipated to show up, we had to limit the amount of laps each person was given. But that's why we have the road course open, so anyone can get on there and do it as many times as they would like to! Thanks again for coming out to the show and we hope to see you there next year!

Know anything about that “Post Event Deal” that was going on? We all got those little business cards with the QR Code telling us that if we signed up, we would be notified on Dec 1st. I purposely waited, ignored Black Friday sales, just for that one.

@@latemodelrestoration will do. Originally I had the card just laying out, assuming there was a code on it that would apply on Dec. Nothing was said at the event other than that it was a coupon. Thankfully I signed up before the deadline, but if there was a mistake or glitch, it always seems to involve me, so dunno if anyone else got theirs or not.
