@@jaredmackey4511 definitely get the micro. I had the carbine for a while and liked it a lot at first, but after a few hundred I started feeling it was simply too big for 9mm, being basically as big and same weight as an AR 15 and without the power. Plus with most 9mm loads all the powder is burnt in around 7 inches, so the bullet is actually slowing down before it ever leaves the barrel on the carbine. Still a cool gun but i I wished I went with the pistol. After about 1500 rds it had issues and went back to cz and needed to be replaced. Cz was great, quick, and offered me msrp credit/refund since the hb model carbine was no longer made. The micro just came out, so it was a no brainer and I got a few mags to make up the difference. The issues with the carbine was a blessing in disguise because the micro is much more in its element, and its highly mobile, fits in a backpack, under a car seat, in a drawer, whatever. With the hb ak style safety, trigger spring kit, flat faced metal trigger shoe, extended CH, extended mag release, for me its perfect and for short money. Just my few cents and some considerations. Be good be safe.

To be honest I'd take a cheap MAC 10 or MAC 11 over anything in this video. The MAC 10 and MAC 11 have one thing that make them more compact, they are grip loaded. So even attaching a tube and brace to a MAC still makes it much more compact than anything on this list. Not to mention they are cheap, super reliable, cheap magazines, pre threaded barrels to easily attack suppressors, fake suppressors, barrel extensions etc. So if it is just about an actual pistol that is high capacity and on the smaller side even with a brace attacked, it is hard to beat a MAC 10 or MAC 11. Just look at how much more compact a MAC with a brace is compared to everything else in this video. Hands down, the MAC wins. Also, besides the AR15 in the video, there are way more aftermarket parts for the MAC than anything else in the video, and you can swap uppers on the MAC just like you can with an AR15.

Pretty solid review. I have a scorpion, Stribog gen 2, the EP9, and PSA AR-V. All very solid pcc’s for sure. My scorpion is the most modified(and my fav), but I was really impressed with the EP9! Honestly I thought it was going to be a bit of a lemon, but it was the best bang for the buck! Probably my least favorite, but I really like it. It’s a really close race between the Stribog and the AR-V. The AR-V uses the paddle mag release which I like and of course the AR controls. The Stribog has great factory flip up sights(peep). Like when you flip them up, the sound of them snapping into place, ahhh! Just great quality! Also it has small notched sights when the sights and in the down position. You’ll over look them unless you know they are there. Very well done Grand Power! Plus I think the Stribog probably has the best trigger(factory) out of my bunch. Comes with a threaded barrel and thread protector from the factory. I’ve been running a silencerco octane 9 on it and it’s been GREAT! I’d recommend all of the ones I have to anyone. Just consider what your budget is and sort of stick to that range! Happy shooting!

I have watched a lot of videos on PCCs that mention the CZ Scorpion, and I wholeheartedly agree it's a great platform. What I never hear is that it comes with a set of - in my opinion - excellent iron sights. Sort of AR-style, but very low-profile. Plus: much closer to the muzzle than any glass. Downside: you may have to **really** snug the gun in to get a god sight profile. And if you can it, you may need risers. But in my experience, some of the best irons from the factory - and removable, as they are factory-mounted on the Picatinny. Do agree that the G3, style charging handle is a throwback.

I believe that CMMG now has a Banshee lower that uses SIG P320 magazines. I built my own custom CMMG RBG PCC. I used the Radian Weapons AX556 lower receiver for the build. This type of build does require the ARC 9 magazine inserts for my PMAGs (not a problem IMO). The fully ambi controls of the AX556 and the fact that I can install any other AR15 caliber upper receiver is ideal. This gives me the ability to train with the same lower receiver, but have the option of multiple calibers depending upon the expected use at that time.

@@anthonyarcher7268 I am willing to learn more about this topic. There are a variety of circumstances that led to my choosing of 9mm as my preferred round, and one of those is cost.
@duketogo26163 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyarcher7268 I been seeing quite a bit of comments on KZbin videos about PCCs and mentioning 5.56 vs. 9mm. You really need a longer barrel to take advantage of the terminal ballistics of 5.56 since you're gonna lose a lot off of a shorter barrel. 9mm you are getting full speed with like a 4 inch barrel because the powder is fast burning and if you're using quality hollow point ammo then it is definitely a solid choice for home defense against normal unarmored targets. Also from what I gather it's preferred for the round to hold together and expand when it hits the target and deliver the impact in one solid mass rather than fragmenting and dispersing the energy over smaller pieces.

Since it is internet direct only it costs 449 plus 20 shipping plus whatever FFL fee your local gun shop charges to have it shipped there. My local FFL charges 35. The features I thought most important were light weight at 4 pounds, takes Glock mags, last round bolt hold open, non-reciprocating charging handle. The light weight in particular is important once you start adding a red dot, gun light, muzzle device like a muzzle redirector or silencer. KZbin videos indicate excellent reliability even with 4 to 5 thousand rounds or more through them. Made in USA.
