So good! My non wfpb husband and daughter loved it too! I let it marinate for 2 days and made the tik tok feta pasta dish with the cherry tomatoes. I added kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, and spinach. Next time I'll add artichoke.

Ok, I know I am late, but I finally tried this. I was skeptical about it being raw tofu, but wow. It’s delicious. And you know what? I made too much marinade, so I just poured it over some butter lettuce with the tofu and it was all amazing 😊

LOL - I'm later than you. I always wait until some viewers have tried it, and read their comments to see how it turned out. Altho, polite people won't say anything if they don't like it, which is okay too. I loved Feta Cheese (back in the day), so I'm hoping you really loved it. I'm going to make it tonight and see how it turns out tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Did you find the Wildwood Super Firm Tofu??? I've never seen it.

For those looking for an alkaline recipe… Use chickpea tofu and substitute nutritional test with coconut aminos, lemon for key lime juice and sea salt as she suggested in the video. Happy cooking!

A very unique flavor, love that she uses white wine/wine vinegar in some of the vegan cheese recipes....that gives it extra tanginess . It is hard to find reasonably priced nutritional yeast in stores these days, but miso paste compensates well .

Will definitely give this a try Jill. It looks fabulous. Some crackers and cherry tomatoes, some pickled baby onions (I'm a pickler), and there's a pre meal nibble right there with lots of time to prepare in advance. Appreciate your contribution to Chef AJ's bundle as you may realise: it's birthday season in my family. Eight birthdays over 7 weeks so I'll need some special dishes 😊

Just made this minus the soy sauce Bragg's nutritional yeast and miso, fairly simple and a good addition to salads and if you slice it you can add to sushi rolls

Something new to me just yesterday, people making Thai sticky rice but using oatmeal instead. I can't find a recipe for it. I'd love it if Plant Based Cooking can come up with one. I absolutely love the coconut sauce and the mangos that accompany sticky rice.

Looking forward to trying this recipe. I always buy Violife feta, they are the best. It will be nice to have this on hand when I can't make it to the store. I love eating it as is, but I always carry some with me when we go out to greek restaurants, I tell them no no feta on my salad and then out comes my Violife.

The chocolate, is fine, just make sure to read the label to make sure there isn’t milk. As far as flour goes, I would try to stick with whole grain flour. White flour is vegan but heavily processed.

I was just lamenting the fact today that I used up the Violife feta cheese I had which I love and I also happen to have a block of tofu sitting in my fridge. (I always have a block of tofu to try different recipes then I finally just make scrambled tofu with it before it goes bad.)

you can get a lot of the shelf stable ingredients online (Braggs aminos, nutritional yeast etc)
