Good informative vid, Ben!! 👍🏼👍🏼 I’ve been fishing shoreline ponds here in so cal for many years, and the ones I fish have typically muddy/silt bottoms with spring/summer grass...no rocks/gravel...a lipless crankbait (I.e. Jackall TN any size or) has far out-fished any lipped crankbait yo-yo’ing or dragging off the bottom...I can bomb a TN further out than any lipped crank and cover a lot of water...many times, I’ll hookup 50-100+ ft from shore...off the bottom.

@@Matt-bb5kw Yes. It seems more often than not, when I get a little hung up in the weed with my lipless, as soon as I rip it out, I get hooked up. I’ll even put single inline hooks in place of trebles to help it get thru the weed patches better, so I’ll pick up less grass....Obviously, if the grass is really thick, any of the treble hooked hard baits will be difficult to fish....depends on the depth and thickness of the weeds..

I love the Madbull so much. I predominantly throw a jackhammer on it because they’re so good at my local pond but it’s so good for LC 1.5s, LV150s and 500s, and Evokes!

Does the rod holder work well attached to the waist bag? I've always just imagined the rod holders flopping or tilting from rod wieght and be more annoying than helpful. Seemed to do well in few shots I saw it in.

Absolutely. They’re perfect on the waist bag. They don’t move much, and they’re super easy to reposition when you need to.
