This is great. I was wondering why I was seeing gray buttons in my documents recently. Thanks for the Pro Tip! Q: Do you have any samples of Central Repository Documents? I have been doing something simular for a while but my documents seem like a laundry list and not an organized handsome document,
@JeffSu2 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel! Thanks so much for the comment and question! For central repository documents, I would argue they change based on the objective of that document. For example a onboarding document for new hires would have Format A, whereas a Master Project Tracker would have Format B. I know this doesn't answer your question (😅) but I find it helpful to see what I want to achieve with that document first!

At this point, for drive, - They should combine drive and keep. Or make keep a file type. - If people storing image in keep file, they should be able to add text under or above each image. Keep should be more like lite version of doc file w/ some more functionality like "bold text." - remove the task app. - remove "task" and "reminder" in the calendar. Just have an "event". - Bring cards system in doc. Can be used as a "catcher" and also for "long notes". - They should remove the ugly file icons they have in drive. - plus have different drive color themes and dark mode.

Jeff's videos always impress me! Jeff, may I know if there's a feature - to get a wording located/referred to one of the slides, in the same Google Doc? E.g. I text a word 'shoes' in page 20, and I want to click the word to let me refer to page 3 (i.e. description) for my reference. **Context** I'm a heavy user of Google Drive and this new feature is damn useful, close to Notion, and most importantly - syncs up all info within Google Suite! The learning curve of Notion is too long for me to migrate my lengthy language notes from Google Doc! Hopefully Google can keep optimising Google Suite further!
