In other words, i have a list of screening questions that I want to simply insert into the doc whenever I have a new interview (similarly to how you would import a meeting date and name using Building Blocks in one click). How would I go about doing that? Thank you.

I have been doing something simular for a while but my documents seem like a laundry list and not an organized handsome document,
@JeffSu
@JeffSu 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Daniel! Thanks so much for the comment and question! For central repository documents, I would argue they change based on the objective of that document. For example a onboarding document for new hires would have Format A, whereas a Master Project Tracker would have Format B. I know this doesn't answer your question (😅) but I find it helpful to see what I want to achieve with that document first!

At this point, for drive, - They should combine drive and keep. Or make keep a file type. - If people storing image in keep file, they should be able to add text under or above each image. Keep should be more like lite version of doc file w/ some more functionality like "bold text." - remove the task app. - remove "task" and "reminder" in the calendar. Just have an "event". - Bring cards system in doc. Can be used as a "catcher" and also for "long notes". - They should remove the ugly file icons they have in drive. - plus have different drive color themes and dark mode.

Jeff's videos always impress me! Jeff, may I know if there's a feature - to get a wording located/referred to one of the slides, in the same Google Doc? E.g. I text a word 'shoes' in page 20, and I want to click the word to let me refer to page 3 (i.e. description) for my reference. **Context** I'm a heavy user of Google Drive and this new feature is damn useful, close to Notion, and most importantly - syncs up all info within Google Suite! The learning curve of Notion is too long for me to migrate my lengthy language notes from Google Doc! Hopefully Google can keep optimising Google Suite further! Thx again for your sharing:) (and I try to put your skills into practice xD)

Hi, Jeff! For some reason my @-menu is way too shorter than yours. Everything I have is People, Smart chips, Elemets, Files and Calendar. No Lists, Charts, Headings, Page number etc. How can I expand my suggestion list?
@JeffSu
@JeffSu 10 ай бұрын
Do you still all the options after you start typing out the word after @?
@АлександраНамаканова
@АлександраНамаканова 10 ай бұрын
@@JeffSu Yes, if I type for example @list then I get list suggestions, so all the functions exist but they are hidden until I start typing some specific option

@@JeffSu but there are no tables unfortunately. So I'm not resubscribing to evernote because of higher cost. Otherwise I thing Google Docs could deploy mobile and overall features like evernote it would be fantastic since I already a paying Google 1 customer

Thanks Jeff for sharing the new Smart Chips feature. How do you find this new feature when compared to Notion? Would you start to move your Notion workflows over to Google Docs? -TP

Can somebody say how to connect certain calendar to google docs? Menu @ gives no options but standart calendar. If your have 2 or more calendars in google, Docs just doesnt want to see them. Why??
