Those people are neighbors, family members, and friends. So i don’t see it as terrible to want to support those people. Especially if you want them to stick around. People need to employ the “You do you and I’ll do me” mentality. There’s no one right way to do this quarantine thing. Some people get joy and ease anxiety by playing with makeup. As long as you’re not depriving yourself of food and hygiene because you blew your funds on a new lip liner, I don’t think anyone should be up in arms about how other people budget their money. Also, R.I.P. Baldwin Denim. You spoke SO highly of them! 😭

Love the video!! Products I love: The Eye Lift Primer--amazing product that prevents makeup under eye wrinkles on. CC Cream--gorgeous but I can't wear every day either. Rhea bronzer--love love love. I havent tried the blush yet but want to! All over powder brush--my FAVORITE! So soft!! Newer blush brush and eye crease brushes--perfect! Mascara--holy grail of mascara! My brown one just came in!!! Lip Liner in Kackie--i dont usually go for as brown a lip but when I learned that you use it more as contour on your lip....LOVE!!!

I loooove the brightening mask too and used it every night but I think I overloaded my skin with it and I get a zit anywhere I put it now (even just under my eyes--and I've never had a zit there before lol) So I'm gonna take a break and then go to once a week because I still love it! My skin just needs it once in a while though haha

I wish I could help all my indie brands. Unfortunately I'm on a stay at home order and for me I'm hoping I have someway of getting food. My food is running out and more importantly my dogs only have a week worth of food left. I can go hungry because I understand what's going on but they do not. No need to respond. But of course you are featuring the brands you have partnered with and believe in. And if you were a doctor, lawyer, any other professional, that's what you would do too. You take care of your relationships. It's good business and in the time of COVID, if it is financially possible, it's also being a good neighbor. And we each are good neighbors to each other in many ways. Certainly keeping the brands and businesses we love in business is one. Since you mentioned not having done a collab in some time, it would be neat to see you partner up with another influencer for one of these (long distance of course) or do an edition where instead of discussing brands you discuss influencers/youtubers that you stan (since they're essentially small businesses themselves and may be struggling now).

The mascara sounds interesting.... I use Korean skincare, very clean and effective ingredients. And for clean makeup, I tend to fall into the "use it with your finger" cream items, RMS/Kosas/ILIA brands ..(even when I love brushes because I studied architecture and fine arts xD). Maybe it's because I'm 35yo and just started this year with skincare and makeup, never used anything before. I'm not that pretty, but I love to be me...... But this year I got hurtful dry patches, so now I'm taking care of my skin. Maybe I'm not the usual makeup user but I love your content and your personality, so thank you 💜✨

I recently found your channel as I’ve been search for a lightweight tint/foundation. 1) love your videos and so glad to have found you...2) I’m still struggling on what foundation to start with. I’m 47, have dry dehydrated skin and want done very light and natural looking that will work with dry skin. Recommendations on one to start with? It can be tint/ serum/. I tried physicians formula it settled terribly everywhere and the found out it wasn’t cruelty free after 😢

How are you doing in Austin, Texas? Here in San Antonio seems to be handling things well. Thanks Kackie for supporting Indie brands. I had no idea about the Baldwin clothing brand, in San Antonio. It's interesting large brands can afford to push their products and give PR to influencers. Indie brands can't do that as readily and they don't have the funds for extensive advertisements as do the larger brands. I have decided in 2020 and beyond I will purchase first from those brands that helped with support of the American people during this crisis. Secondly, I plan to research to support Indie brands first to find products I need before I head over to larger brands. We can rebuild our economy if we are insightful with our future purchases. We can do this!

I use Final Cut Pro! But it’s expensive and can be a lot to learn. Most macs come with iMovie. Plenty of youtubers still use iMovie!! It’s much easier and freeee
