The best Rolex submariner homage ever!!! Ginault Ocean rover 2 unboxing.

this is in no way it paid promotion or sponsored by anybody I bought this watch with my hard-earned money unboxing my first ever Ginault watch I was just completely blown away by the quality the perfection and absolute beauty of this watch for anybody who's a hater of this watch you need to go seek therapy and get over the fact that it looks like a submariner because this thing has got everything that I've ever wanted in a sub when I go to the gray dealers because I always like this out of one year range and then I like a feature out of another year range or another feature out of a different year range and this submariner homage has got all the best features from all the years

Yeah this is the first and only time I've really gone big on any kind of jewelry or watch all the other ones I had honestly I felt was good enough and were super super great watches but now that I've actually got to play with something that is far more better because when you're at the gray dealer and all that you can check the watch out but they don't really want you fiddling with every like all the stems and the details and stuff like that and honestly I really had planned on or was thinking hard about getting a real Rolex and I just can't even justify it now f*** that nonsense I feel like I've got something way better because I couldn't go to Rolex and get all the features I wanted in the one watch like I do here

Honestly the Invicta is a great watch for the price but if you want top of the line the Ginault it's the clear choice but for the kind of work we do I would go Invicta

You should check out the unboxing video I just did on my new one I just got a ceramic black bezel I also just did a live show over this past weekend comparing the ceramic blue and black bezel and my aluminum bezel version with the Golden sands loom but yes I completely agree these are neckbreakers very very pretty watch and just so you know they have re-released these for short time so no need to be envious you can totally get one have a great day and thank you for watching

Thank you I really agree the Omega is a very nice watch and super accurate I was just not a huge fan of the helium escape valve and a scalloped bezel

@@mr.eswatchreviews The bezel is kind of a pain in the ass, and the helium escape valve kind of disappears on wrist. Enjoy that ocean rover ,one of these day's ill probably pick one up.

@@jodysilvia2 I think that would be an excellent idea if you have not had a chance also check out the silent service from Ginault it is a badass watch at first I really wasn't super keen on it when just seeing it in pictures but the more I looked at it the more I grew on me and by time it got to me I was super excited doing the happy dance when it showed up but it is a fantastic watch it has a different bezel it has a different crown the bezel is sapphire and fully loomed and is in the slightly bigger case of the 41 which actually measures 40.5 if you're interested in seeing it I have two videos of it on my channel and there is a third where I directly compare the ocean Rover to the silent service but honest to God both of the bezels feel exactly like a Rolex when you rotate them

The case size is 40 mm 20 mm between the lug and the bracelet is quite adjustable with the removal links and the glide lock I my estimation would be probably goes down easily to a six inch wrist and up to maybe a 9 or bigger if you added more links and about 12 mm thick

Ginault.com their email is on there I recommend you email John as he is extremely helpful and I am not an employee of Ginault but would also recommend looking at their brand new watch the silent service it is still in phase 1 pre-order where you can get a no date for 1099 and date with cyclops for 1299 my silent service should be here any day now keep an eye out for the review it is an excellent watch and very beautiful but it is 41 mm and has the chunky lug design so kind of depends on what you like

From Ginault I recommend you email John [e-mail] tell him Ed sent you maybe he can hook you up I had to wait and someone backed out of there pre-order so I got lucky just so you know they have a new watch I will be receiving mine today it is called the silent service similar but different I will be doing a unboxing tonight soon as I get home

How would you compare the glidelock of ocean rover and silent service to that of cronos submariner ? Is one better than the other??

The cronos is close but the Ginault feels much better just like the Rolex I feel like this it's so close to the Rolex if you were blindfolded you would be hard pressed to know which one was which but as for the other glide locks I have gotten from different Chinese micro brands the Cronos does feel the best if we were talking strictly the Chinese watches but over all Ginault all the way

@@mikearkous8379 yeah it's one of those ignorance is bliss kinds of things Mike if you were to get the Kronos and never touch as you know or Rolex it would feel like the greatest thing ever but once you shatter that glass ceiling and touch the other stuff just yeah there's no going back after that so yes it's good is it as good as the 2 others no is it better than 98% of the other Chinese glidelock systems I have felt yes sorry I wish this was more of a just a straightforward answer I feel like I'm f****** beating around the bush but you know it is what it is I just don't want to sell the one short because it is good but ginault is great

@@mikearkous8379 that is very gentlemanly of you I say just get you to Rolex anyhow hold off on the marriage part unless you're absolutely sure she's the right one or got an ironclad prenup I've been engaged three times never been married because I'm not sure where you located at in the world Mike but here in the US getting married for a man essentially is just signing away half of your s*** in case the other person decides they just want to leave one day and I'm good on that but that's just me I really hope that you've either found the one already or that someday you do but I say I wouldn't wait till then I'd get me a Rolex as soon as I got the call from the ad
