I still think this is wrong, i was diamnond in a couple months ago, and i was a way beteter than that, the problem isnt the mechanics, but his fundamentals are not in diamond 3 level, the speed is very slow the flicks the shots, everthing. I’m gc in 2s and can’t do that, ceiling shots unless perfected are a useless mechanic that players should not try in comp. will almost always lead to maybe a shot on goal from the other team or a 1v2 situation. If u carry the ball up the wall and air dribble it you have much more control over where the ball is going and at what speed.

Papa's accuracy is great. And that's what is missing from Gold/Plat a lot of the time. People think the higher you can challenge and reach the ball the better you are. But putting it top corner, faking, and rebounding at a low level will get you to Diamond if you have the skills to be accurate.

I've got a friend we bought the game together and played together since. After reaching diamond our styles got pretty much very very diffrent and Papa's style reminds me of my friend's style. Just very passive, slow at times, sometimes i make a pass of my life just to discover he is chilling somewhere on our half of the field. But it really works, sometimes when he's on the ball he would save the match when the things looked grimm, outplaying the enemies and scoring a goal not by increasing the pace but by getting the ball out of the blue and doing everything with ultra precision. It's really hard to explain how it works but my man sometimes carries whoole match while being ultra passive at the same time. So i can truly understand thoose silvers,golds and plats misjudging papa moon, because thoose people are probably playing much higher pace from their point of view. But by the end of the day it doesn't matter how much boost you have used if you missed the ball when it counted i guess.

@@tildn7374 how consistently? Because I've air dribbled one backboard to another with a flip reset. But only once, in free play. Like a 99.9% fail rate tho. And not even in a game. Point is, just because u can do that a few times in free play has nothing to do with your rank. If you can air dribble top corner 60% of the time, it's relevant. Otherwise... really not important.
