Throwing my vote in the ring for Cabaret! Adam is absolutely mind blowing as the Emcee (his vocals alone are worth the price of admission). Auli’i is a very different Sally, but a refreshing Sally. Absolutely can’t miss them before they leave in March!

Great recs but I have to call out Swept Away!! I’m making a trip to NYC in January specifically for this show and it’s amazing cast. Not your typical musical… it’s a bit dark… but beautiful performances and amazing music. Previews begin October 29, officially opens on November 19. Playing at the Longacre. I am biased as I’ve seen the show in Berkeley and DC, the Avett Brothers are one of my all time favorite bands, and I am a Stark Sands fan. It was practically made for me… 😂

The Met HD broadcasts are thrilling, that would be a great way to watch Grounded. They show the stars running around backstage, set changes, etc. Well worth paying to stream it or catch it in cinemas.

Thanks for doing this video. Saw Mattress and have tickets to Sunset Blvd., as well as Gypsy in previews. Looking forward to seeing Audra, but Super excited to see this version of Sunset. Also have tix to Ragtime and very excited to see this cast. Mattress was fun. Definitely want to see Cabaret. Didn’t see it with previous leads.

I would definitely suggest not watching the movie before seeing death becomes her. I saw it in Chicago having not watched the movie prior and I definitely wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if I knew what was coming!

I only saw the movie of Death Becomes Her once, when I was about ten, and it scared me so much that I couldn't finish it. Maybe I should give it another try.

Except for the D&D play I either have seen or gave tickets for every show on this list. Since you agree with my choices it proves what excellent taste you have. If I may suggest Safety Not Guaranteed at BAM Harvey if fir no other reason than to see the theater where they need to stage a revival of Follies

Hi Mickey. I just want to thank you for your recomendation. In my last trip to NY I took your advice and went to see The little shop of horror, Marrily We Roll along and Sweeney Todd. And I just loved it. This spring I am planning to see Othello, Good night and good luck and Dorian Gray. What do you think?

I'm going mid November, mainly to see Tammy Faye and Sunset again, but also got a ticket for Oh Mary! Zero interest in Death Becomes Her or Gypsy. Might go and see Sherie Renee Scott in Little Shop. No-one thought about her for the role because she is definitely not 'traditional' casting..... maybe 70 Girls 70 is coming back after this...Going back and forth on seeing Swept Away
