This is great. I was planning to do beginning tutorials in blender for KZbin & also full paid ones later on when I get better at it. I don't use any of the mics you've listed, but I do have a Samson Meteor Mic which is also USB powered that's also pretty good which comes with its only software as well. I also have mic stand & a pop filter as well for the mic. I've added this to my watch later list.

@@FlippedNormals The Samson is great, I can use their software to clean out the sound so its much cleaner. Though you have to back it up on Google Drive, as they don't let you re-download it if you lose the install file. Thanks for the link, I really appreciate it & I'll have a good read of it in my own time. :) Also I've been enjoying your Intro to Blender 2.8 course as well & I'm learning a lot about Blender, while following along using latest version of Blender. :) Especially someone like me who has experience in using Maya.

There's a much faster way to trim down a video than slicing twice and doing ripple delete. Check out the Ripple Trim commands (there's one for before playhead and one for after playhead). Bind them to a key each, and see how your workflow accelerates significantly. I have my WASDQE keys all rebinds to trimming and ripple cuts so I can trim down a video right quick. I didn't know about alt-dragging to replace audio, thank you for that!

Remux is so annoying!. Looking forward to your series. I started making game character art tuts a couple months ago, the difficulty I vastly underestimated! 😅 I think you can actually use Handbreak to do the remux, I find obs annoying. I'm interested if you have any tips when it comes to file management and archiving videos projects. Any workflows that save you time?
